More so because the Eagles wanted that pick for Barass. It's like Cats trading away the pick we wanted for Henry. Its all a bit over the top when they describe hawthorn trading pick 14 for a future first as a stunning move

Ah... it's the other way around.Probably not if we don't get Houston
I think we will get Houston but if it does break down we will safe our bikkies on big names to spend in a years time, and top up with a combination of DFAs and draft picks. Or just delist one fewer player.Wonder If we find a New Trade Target to try and get or just happy with Perrymen at the moment?
Then look at Hayes and Tomlinson as DFA
Think Houston stays at Port Now
Lol what are you on about?Everyone else gets one of those too. Making it sound like we have something special.
Maybe but our future first is worth considerably more than #29.Noble is not worth pick 13.
They would only need to satisfy a trade for Noble.
I’m sorry but if we can’t get this deal to work with Gold Coast which will lead to us getting Houston, then surely we keep Noble. Losing Noble and not getting Houston will be a failure which will weaken us, unless somebody like Will Parker really steps up next yea which is possible.
There’s no necessity for Collingwood to get involved in the Lukosous trade . If that’s direct between port and Suns it should have no bearing on what we are trying to achieve
I wouldn’t mind a Goey going no where post to stop posters on here from bringing it up.Nice summary. He seems to have matured a lot since his “Aisho going nowhere” days.
Port has gone over what we payListening to the Leppa interview, he sad we definitely have a limit of what we would pay for.1 player, and if push comes to shove if its more than what we're willing to pay, we won't do it.
Also indicated Perryman likely will play half back. Will get opportunities through the midfield overtime given the age of our midfield. But may not be right away
We can find another Club that could help us possibly get HoustonThere’s no necessity for Collingwood to get involved in the Lukosous trade . If that’s direct between port and Suns it should have no bearing on what we are trying to achieve
Sounds good to me brother. Just the two of us, you and I.If we get Houston me and Fat Jesus are going to sing Never Tear Us Apart in the middle of Rundle Mall while going full on Requiem for a Dream.
Aren't they looking to get up the draft order ahead of a Kako bid?Why don’t we look at trading our F1 for Essendons current first?
That way they safeguard their ability to have effectively 3 F1s over 2 year period and we can get into the top 10 this year?
They cant unless they pay a lot more than they have which they won’tAren't they looking to get up the draft order ahead of a Kako bid?
Perryman has nothing to do with the arrangements here and shouldn’t be included in assessing the outcome of them? Here is my elaborate scenario that gets us Houston and moves us up in the draft without being greedy. It involves lots of pick swaps but Gold Coast shouldn’t mind as they are primarily concerned about points for their academy prospect.

He will probably be played out of position for the next five years, share the love GC. I really rate Will Graham as well.Just ask GC for a F1 or Humphries for Noble, if they don't want to trade Pick 13 and 23.
