We aren’t going to land a top notch key forward so if Fly wants one go get someone who isn’t getting much of game at the moment that will help us in the short term in that space purely by being healthy for starters.

Maybe look at Himmelberg from the Crows who would be surplus to their tall stocks.

No you're right about his lack of pace, it's pretty obvious. He seems to have a terrific tank but listing pace as one of his main attributes is just saying stuff, and its actually one of the main deficiencies he'll have to overcome if he makes it. I liked his last game, though.

Ryan’s pace is better than Eyre, Dean, Frampton, Howe, so in that regard he offers more pace for our backline.
I never suggested his pace was Nobles standard - Ryan is not slow, nor is his pace a deficiency for a defender IMO.

Post like this are just mean spirited. I detest all the subtle and not so subtle potting of fringe players. Bytel, Sullivan, long, Ash, etc may not be setting the world on fire but they have busted their arses for our club and put their bodies on the line. They should be treated with respect. Not as some sort of punchline.
