If he is that adamant Melbourne might have accept a much lower trade.
Much like Collingwood has had to in recent years on trades including a big name trade in Grundy who was on a massive contract for many years to go.
What did we get for Grundy again who was a top 2/3 ruck in the AFL at the time?
It's going to be a long trade week if every unrealistic trade suggestion is deemed offensive...Careful Sr the fun police are on the lookout!
It’s one of the more fanciful suggestions that have popped up on here! The thing with a rumour like that is it’ll never be proven because even if it were possible for Petracca to take that path the club would just fold and acknowledge his trade request.FFS, there is no chance that Petracca going back onto the ground qualifies as “medical negligence”. Even if it was I wouldn’t think it would constitute a breach of the playing contract by Melbourne giving grounds for termination by the player. Although off the top of my head I can’t think of the exact wording used in the contract to set out club obligations.
If Trac, like any player, really wants to leave, a trade will likely happen. His lack of an “I want to stay” statement says plenty. Hard for us to get him though. We would have to give up a favourite son or two.

Something tells me yours and any others like it are safe because based on the above the subtext was pretty plain! Twenty posters liking it though was a bit weird… Pragmatic ShillIt's going to be a long trade week if every unrealistic trade suggestion is deemed offensive...
I reckon you and all 20-odd people that liked your comment need to settle the hell down. It was not a swipe at Bytel whatsoever, it was a swipe at soreplums who has done the typical thing that people on BF (and other socials) do - making some big claim that gets the masses all excited and frothing at the mouth but choosing the completely ignore requests from people to follow up and instead choosing to bask in the attention they have brought to themselves.
On top of that, it's a swipe at people that make comments like "Bytel is not the future" which were CONSTANT in last night's match thread despite him not playing. They are the ones that have complexes about fringe players, not me.
Unfortunately, I can't help but feel that the 20ish people that have jumped on board to like your comment are doing so because it's someone clapping back at me specifically. Most of the people choosing to like your comment would prefer I just F off and die.
I think my joke was 3 times as bad in terms of what you pointed out. It did the same thing as bytel for pick 1 but to 3 of our players.Rest easy sr, my post was nothing to do with yours. I love a good Red Paper Clip trade as much as the next nuffy.
To be clear you posted something that lead to an inadvertent perceived pile on against one poster. Sr then posts the exact same thing a “not so subtle potting” of not one, but three players and they can rest easy! We’re seeing so much hatred spewed at Shoota and it’s PS’ post called out. That’s shit.Rest easy sr, my post was nothing to do with yours. I love a good Red Paper Clip trade as much as the next nuffy.
efaImagine if Trac was able to break his contract and come to us a free agent…

Petracca's individual welfare aside, who cares about MFC?.....If it’s an unworkable situation then they need to fix it. If the fracture is so deep then there’s not much Melbourne can do.....

Such a brutal job. They get ruthlessly critiqued all year. Over 10% of them get sacked every year and have us nuffies applauding it and joking about it.
I don’t agree whatsoever
If the medical staff at Melbourne did not adequately warn advise and take adequate steps to prevent and warn petracca of the potential risks of returning to the field when they didn’t have a complete diagnosis then there may in fact be grounds for negligence
The duty encompasses liability stemming directly from acts or omissions of a practitioner, including any failure to warn
It is not hard to posit that the scope of the duty encompasses a requirement to take reasonable care to advise a patient, who has suffered an injury, of risks and behaviours which may a contribute in a catastrophic manner to a worsening of that injury
We don’t know the medical records of petracca but if they are inadequate then there could be a case
As a health practitioner I’m more qualified than you with your limitationsBit far over your skis on this one. You have previously used the accounting definition of liability to describe Darcy Moore. Turns out you dont understand the legal concept either.
That’s a twofer.

Who champs first?
Careful. You may think Sidey knows fcuk nothing about the law.As a health practitioner I’m more qualified than you with your limitations
Careful, Sideswipe is also a constitutional lawyer. He might rule you to be an "enemy combatant"if you keep arguing with him.As a health practitioner I’m more qualified than you with your limitations
It’s a 50/50 contest.Who champs first?
Um No, there is no deal for Track, he's not up for trade so whether a team has dozens of draft picks or none is irrelevant, he's not being traded so your guess is wrong, it's just the truth. It’s one of the more fanciful suggestions that have popped up on here! The thing with a rumour like that is it’ll never be proven because even if it were possible for Petracca to take that path the club would just fold and acknowledge his trade request.
My guess is the inability to trade picks two years in advance will scupper a deal, but it’ll be a live watch this time next year if Melbourne don’t sort their shit out.
Which part of my post indicated he’s up for trade? Unlike yourself who loves to leave zero wiggle room I prefer more nuanced language such as “my guess” and “it’ll be a live watch this time next year”. If you weren’t such a campaigner I’d feel for you with the reaming you’re going to cop next month because you’ve rubbed a lot of posters the wrong way a number of times.Um No, there is no deal for Track, he's not up for trade so whether a team has dozens of draft picks or none is irrelevant, he's not being traded so your guess is wrong, it's just the truth.
