Have an out of the box trade, pendles to kangaroos for number 2 pick number 2 and our future first for petraca.
Pendles gets a season or 2as player then straight into coaching he's exactly what the kangaroos kids need and he would be doing it to benefit us ... As much as I hate it it's a win win

With respect no its not. As someone who suffers from trauma related mental health issues, the dialogue from Lyon and Melbourne is disgusting. This first and foremost is about his health listening to him talk.

This is a unique situation that falls outside the parametres of a regular trade.

He is also a risky trade until he gets on top of his trauma.

I am angry at the way he is being portrayed especially from Lyon who claimed depression for his low act and for how Lyon had so much sympathy for a player with a drug addiction to keep him at Melbourne.

I wanted to hear Lyon, Melbourne and Goodwin show Christian some love and support but what we are getting is the contracted player rhetoric. Disgusting!!

Lyon's a hypocrite of the highest order.

Apparently head injuries aren't as important to him either when it's a Dee's player who has caused it.

Probably, but it couldn’t hurt to ask. Melbourne’s closer to Adelaide than Gold Coast - surely he could cope with a 50 minute flight every so often if he wanted to visit family or friends.

The only reason Petracca will miss any footy in 2025 is due to his injury on KB. He’s not sitting out any period of time and certainly not retiring at the peak of his powers.

I agree, thats why i think we only have a chance by doing the deal over two stages
Get Another 2nd rounder. leaving us with 3 2nd rounders in total. Then package them up for Carltons first rounder so they get points and we have 2 first rounders to play with

Seconds players aren’t worth a second round draft pick either.

Lipinski is an example of a third rounder.
