Let's hope we play Bombers twice then. May guarantee 2 good games.
Could be more if they make finals.

Had to look him up. Medium defender, is this a need?
Versatile, lockdown defender, yep, I think so.

Murphy's back at the club to show him the way..

Young. Lean. Defender. Potentially multiple roles. Bit of Giants intel. What's not to love?

Reportedly Hawks were keen before securing Battle.

I’m sorry but where did he say anything of the sort? The fact we were interested in taking on Lukosious as a salary dump is highly contradictory to this.
The President had also indicated we have the cash and could deal financially on any player.

Also, assuming we were still paying part of Treloar’s contract, hasn’t that officially now come to an end?

He's more an inside midfielder now.
That’s Peatling, not Perryman.

Perryman is strictly a medium defender, and a very average one at that. Too slow to go with quick small forwards, not particularly damaging going forward, and far from elite as an interceptor. The rumoured numbers he is being offered is truly mind boggling.

No i'm not wrong.

He is a good medium defender but Perryman was mostly an inside mid last couple of years, used for tagging.

You're a tough marker! I think he'd be a good addition to our back six as he'd free up Quaynor to rebound more. Having said that, an intercepting defender is a need.

It wouldn't.

The first gets swallowed on a bid next year.
Future Second round helps the points
get Pick 12 (can move it around or use it)

It's not hard.
Just because a pick gets swallowed doesn’t mean we shouldn’t get value. We’d be giving Gold Coast next year a pick lower than 12 and Noble for the luxury of a pick high in the 20s at best and maybe pick 15 this year.

Would rather just take Gold Coast’s 20 for Noble and see if we can get Richmond to split something with us this year if we want in the draft

Yeah not sure about that. Firmly plays in the back of the ground these days. Can push up as most modern flankers do, sure, but he is no midfielder.

He’s a solid enough player. The media are running with offers of 6 years from rival clubs, however. That’s a long commitment to a solid player and I’m sure it wouldn’t be a below average wage.

It’s garbage.
