Hadn't read that, but would think that's likely. Either way, if he was expecting to get to any Melbourne club he'd fly in, or for a number of other reasons, so doesn't really tell us much.

Possibly, even probably, but there are other possible reasons he'd be flying to Melbourne. Roos have a fairly easy path to a deal if it came to that, their F1 would be highly prized.

In 2005 I highlighted on big footy the night before the draft that we were selecting Dale Thomas…I met a guy on a night out through a friend that shared the details. This was a 100% certainty.

The same guy a number of years later suggested(or I misinterpreted) that the pies were into Josh Schache
