Personally I would prefer both Yarran and Motlop over just Treloar.Yarran would be massive.
If we can turn Varcoe into the body on the line tackling machine we have, in one pre-season. Imagine what we could do with Yarran.
That second rounder should probably go Adelaides way, not our way. This deal is a win win for everyone
Cats- Dangerfield
Collingwood- Second round pick and Motlop
Crows- Shaz (rather be at Pies but looks like going) and Cats first round pick
Jeez Im sure Adelaide would take a first round pick, second round pick and a future star of the game in Shaz in a heartbeatThat second rounder should probably go Adelaides way, not our way.
Doubt it, unless Yarran comes over on a lower deal than 400kCould it be possible to get all 3 of those players?
So Geelong gives first rounder Motlop and second rounder for Dangerfield....That second rounder should probably go Adelaides way, not our way.
Assuming the first rounder is 8-12 then yes.So Geelong gives first rounder Motlop and second rounder for Dangerfield....
Unless we finish bottom five next year we wont get him.I think Schaz will stay and will end up drafting his younger brother as well. I don't know what nickname we will give the younger Schaz.
Danger is a FA isn't he so why are people trading for him? Don't the AFL provide compensation?Assuming the first rounder is 8-12 then yes.
DANGER is a top five player in the comp. If Beams left for a first, second and fringe player, then DANGER for a first, second rounder and a quality player is fair game in my opinon
I think the general consensus is Adelaide has every intention of matching the offer.Danger is a FA isn't he so why are people trading for him? Don't the AFL provide compensation?
I was of the opinion that Danger nominates a club, a contracted offer from that club is made and if Adelaide can't or won't match that offer Danger leaves and the AFL provides suitable (maybe) compensation.
Yeah exactly, which is why they will have to trade. It will have to be a three way trade, geelong dont have enough to get it over the lineI think the general consensus is Adelaide has every intention of matching the offer.
Ooooohhh - That could be a problem.I think the general consensus is Adelaide has every intention of matching the offer.
I hate the idea of Scharenberg leaving. Why would anybody want to go BACK to Adelaide? No offense to anybody who lives there, but Melbourne is one of the great cities of the world.
I really hope it isn't true, but if we don't play him (and Jonathon Marsh) against Melbourne & Carlton, then who are we going to play them against?
Hes gone im my opinion. Trading him as part of the Cats-Crows deal is the only way we can benefit. Dont wanna another draft pick we have to develop if we wanna contend in 17-18Easily - FAMILY
Those dodgy ankles of his dont warrant 800k a year anyway
Ooooohhh - That could be a problem.
Why can't they just be happy for Danger and let him go on his merry way.
Tough for Adelaide - if a guy makes up his mind to go you would think it'd be best to let him move on.
They would pay anything for some form of presence up forward, even if he is an alcoholicWe are talking about the Lions Here
I don't think they would stand in their way for Danger, it's more looking after their own house for what could be a big trade period for them if they want to get some high quality talent, as well as recruit some SA young guns such as Aish or Scharenberg or both they need more currency.Ooooohhh - That could be a problem.
