I wish. Our team is crying out for some x factor up forward. Not to mention some pace.
We should be having a red hot crack at him, but we probably wont.

With his Suppose Off-Field Problems. I doubt we would want him

People are overrating Scharenberg in a big way here.

The guy has not played a game in two years and he isn't exactly setting the world on fire in the VFL. If he wants to go home we would be lucky to get a first rounder even.

If he was a Victorian playing for Adelaide and he wanted to come to Collingwood, would you give a top 10 pick for a player who hasn't played a game in two years with one knee reco and several and foot problems. I doubt it.

So Berg is a Hack and is Worth a 2nd Round IF Lucky and is a List Clogger because of Injury?

Exactly, the only way we will get a good trade if he wants to head home is by the DANGER trade

I do think he has great potential, but after 10 games at VFL Level he doesnt look like the player when he was drafter
Only because he's getting the miles back in the legs, you can't replicate match fitness

I know but he has played 10 full games at VFL thats a fair bit of match play, some against very ordinary opposition and isn't really dominating

He's starting to average 20+ disposals and being named in the best and an emergency for the seniors

For someone that's had no footy in 2 years I reckon he's tracking beautifully

Crows will able to match up to a million and they will do that.

Couldn't care less for Lever or Treloar if we get Dangerfield.

A second round pick for Yarran I would do though. I think he needs a fresh start in a big way and will help us out in a big way with our disgraceful ball use in the backline.
No free agent has been matched yet, if he wants to leave why would they make him stay?

I think he's just trying to be realistic about his trade value at the current time TD. Hine obviously saw something and was willing to draft him injured, the knee sucked but just meant he lost a season of development. I expect he will sign on, he's still young and prob just wants to play some AFL games, I'm sure playing at a packed MCG in front of the Collingwood faithful will change his mind on Radelaide.

Scharenberg is a 1st round draft pick who has done nothing in 2 years on an AFL list, that's the reality, has plenty of potential but could also be a bust.

If we could get pick 9 for him I would probably take it and go after a tall.

Well lot of players drafted in 2013 also could be Busts.

Here are a Few from the 1st Rounds that still have ??? on them:

  • James Aish
  • Blake Acers
  • Tom Boyd
  • Ben Lennon
  • Zak Jones
  • Micheall Apnesses
  • Jack Lisle

Not just Freeman and Schranberg

Yeah I would have to disagree with the flack Schaz is getting. Schaz is playing like a very talented 19 year old who has been injured the past two years. Has showed glimpses of his talent but is still putting it all back together. He has not lost the talent he had prior to being drafted.

Like Moore when Schaz is fit enough will play AFL, he will be inconsistent at first but there will be stand out games between the inconsistency where everyone goes that is why we drafted him, eg De Goey V Hawthorn and Moore V Western Bulldogs.

Not just Freeman and Schranberg
Boyd is a hack.
Should be charged for theft stealing Million a year to stand in a goal square and TRYING to mark a ball.
The comparison to Hawkins is crap, Hawkins is way more mobile and has better hands
