Just a bit of news about Adam Oxley, this from a board members son (not going to say which board member though).

The club still don't know what he is doing, has told the club he will discuss his future after the Copeland on Friday night.

Doesn't sound good, the son said that Brisbane are definitely into Oxley, they want him big time, even if they keep Aish or he goes to the Hawks.

Done deal 2nd rounder and Ox for Aish.

Would make me happy.

Sounds like Oxley is gone.

Hopefully it helps us get Aish then

I wouldn't be too bothered losing Oxley. Extremely soft and shits himself under a high ball. Did it a number of times this year.

Also won the Queens Birthday Game.

Great user of Ball

Just like Birchall, Smith and Breust hey?

Oxley had some good games against weak sides, he is a neat kick, but he is soft and slow. Package him up with a pick in an Aish trade and that's great. Not keen for him to go for a pick in a weak draft, as we are losing too much depth and it is considered a weak draft once you get past the top-end.

None of those are soft.

Birchall the closest in his very early career, Smith and Breust hit every contest at 110%. But even Birchall was better in the contest then oxley much better build too and more reliable kick.

Oxleys kick is inconsistent and a bit overstated on here.

I'm not sure the Queens Birthday game is a great example of what to expects from him. He was well protected that day by the other defenders and that fact that Melbourne allowed it to happen is mystifying. He is a good kick though and hopefully Brisbane value him anough that we can work it in our favour. He is easily taken out of the game though.

I noticed that a lot of the time he would get 10 or so touches early, but as soon as opposition clubs put someone to him, his output dropped dramatically

Then you can Call Pendles Kicking Overrated then

The worry is Aish will choose the Hawks now, I mean who wouldn't? And if that happens we lose Oxley for a third round pick and really get little back in return comparatively.

Treloar wouldn't :p

We need to retain Seedsman now if we're losing Oxley.
