So, as I've missed the mornings talk whilst at work, can someone update me as to why we might be missing out on Treloar? Or are some posters just exaggerating?

GWS seems very Hesintent to send Treloar and want him to go Elsewhere. Hopefully Treloar holds his Ground from the Team from Western Shitney

Gubby Allen (GWS List Manager) got on Trade Radio and said multiple clubs have enquired about Treloar. But his entire interview was laughable, he was taking the piss all the way through it. He'll get to us, don't sweat it.

Exaggerating along with the media!!

Cheers guys, sounds like one big measuring contest as usual. Any word on the Seed and Kennedy trades?

Didn't hear the interview, but that sums it up. Gubby probably had his silly grin on his face all the way through.

Moore will develop in the AFL. The other key forward is Cloke. The problem with Dawes is that he is not very good. White is a better player.

Woken up to my senses since but Moore is still a 2nd yr key position player. Is his body going to be allow him to play 15+ games, is the club gunna let him?

White and Dawes two very different players. Both shit but one is only decent when the ball is on the ground; the other is only decent when the ball is in the air.

Seed still hasn't officially nominated a club but it's seems more and more likely that it's between GC and Nth.....lets hope he chooses GC as they have better picks.

Strong rumblings of Kennedy for Howe but still waiting for Howe to nominate as well....obv picks would have to be thrown in also.

It's amazing that there is no whinging about Geelong getting Dangerfield for less than Brisbane got Beams, Selwood for free and likely Henderson yet us trying to make fair deals for Treloar and Aisho have everyone up in arms.

Not sure what the no news regarding Oxley is about. Are we negotiating a new contract?? Is his management shopping him around?? For a bloke who showed so much this season there has been nothing really written about it.

I think it would be worth trying to get a deal done with Sydney. 2 picks in the 20s is worth more to them than their 1st rounder given Mills will likely be a top 5 pick. IMO Pick 14 is more useful for us than a couple of picks in the 20s, in getting Aish whether that be through trade or the ND or could be used if the Treloar deal goes bad.

E.G
Pies trade Pick 26 & Pick 24 (if that is what we get for Freeman)
Swans trade Pick 14 & Pick 51

Assuming Mills is taken Pick 4 (Requiring 1525 points):
Pick 24 (785) + Pick 26 (729)=1514
vs
Pick 14 (1161).

With the deal Sydney's 2nd pick stays at 28. Without the deal it gets shuffled back to 56.

From memory Knightmare had the hot sausage for him.

It's one thing having an interest in someone, and another thing entirely to execute a trade for the guy.

In that Scharenberg/Freeman draft year Aish and Acres were my preferences and Acres I rated ahead of Aish/Scharenberg/Freeman but understood he would well and truly be available at 10.

Acres has struggled particularly in season one with injury. This season still may have had some preseason limitations but has played some senior games. He still has a ways to go, but that scope to develop is there.

I'd be open to a Freeman for Acres swap as I would have been on draft night.

Whether St Kilda would. That's for them to determine. But I'd guess probably not given Freeman has missed those first two seasons.

We can only hope though.

As an aside. It will be interesting working out a suitable trade with St Kilda.

A trade for a combination of players may be the best we can do out of a trade and I can't help but get the sense that St Kilda will want to hold onto that second round pick - perhaps for use in a Carlisle or some other trade.

Acres would be a suitable player to receive in a Freeman trade. Two of Seb Ross, Shane Savage and Nathan Wright may also be suitable. Or maybe we're back to St Kilda's second round pick which probably is the assumed piece we receive in a Freeman trade.

We'll have to see how things play out.

Pick 7 and Pick 22 (from GC for Seedsman) and pick 44 for Treloar

1st round 2016 for Aish

Kennedy for Howe

And that would be a stellar trade period
