"The tenure and the remuneration is still in discussion." WTF? The bigfooty folk told us it was $2M over 4 years. So after an estimated 100 pages of debate and bagging the club, it appears this figure is what Mayne's management has likely asked for but we're negotiating both length and size of deal.

Possibly that was the deal agreed by NM, who pulled out later after punting the old guys, leaving Mayne's manager spewing.

I wonder if many on here suffer from premature ejectulation.

Prematurely ejectulation is a very common occurance and is nothing to be ashamed of.

Tooves retired, looks like Marley might go. Looks like Cyril, Betts, Walters and the like will tear us a new one next year.

They have been tearing us a new one for a while.

If Mayne's management asked for a ham sandwich that would still be overs for Mayne

Hopefully take the proven A grader and not risk two draft picks on underwhelming juniors that wouldn't have been mentioned on this board if not for their last name.

Photo was taken in 1929 - this is what John Wren looked like in 1920.

I have identified about 25 players and officials in that photo.

Thanks for the shout out gents.

Hawks have put a nice spin on it all but Mitchell is absolutely shattered.

The coaching role has been on offer for a while but it was never part of the plan to play in WC. Clarkson asked him to move early to accommodate O'Meara and TMitch.
Not a huge fan of the Hawks but that is really sad about Mitchell. I would have been shattered if one of ours.
Good get from you anyway:thumbsu: .

My take on our activity so far:
Wells is a classy footballer, not too sure about the three years but will definitely make a good impact in terms of outside ball use that we lack.
Mayne has severely declined as a footballer since Freo's Grand Final, but to get him for nothing isn't ridiculous
Hoskin-Elliott is not worth anything more than a third rounder
Rocky is a gun but we already have an array of inside mids, looks like the deal won't happen and would be good to have a first rounder next year
Brown stays (hopefully)
Witts to the Suns would be good if we could get a second/third round pick in return
Frost to Brisbane makes sense as we have Marsh, Brown and Reid back there in support.

One thing I would say is that with Cloke leaving for virtually nothing, we are lacking on talls. Other than Moore and an undersized and inconsistent White, as well as an underdeveloped Cox, we really don't have many other alternatives. Could be a serious problem into 2017.

Been on the road since 7am. Anything interesting happened in the last 10 pages? And yes I am aware of Mitchell to WC. Nice mail there Unknown Identity
People talked about trades that didn't happen, thread got derailed for a page or so, someone said "Keep it on topic guys". It was a f**king madhouse!

Seeing how classy Mitchell has handled this has changed my perception of him.
