There should be by no means some form of system of who wins... its a sport.
Whoever does it the best on and off the field wins, if a team/teams happens to do it better for a long stretch of time, then congrats to them.

To a certain extent, however the whole system is distorted with the AFL twisting rules and playing conditions to advantage startup clubs.

So long as the AFL insists on meddling then any idea of a level playing field is daydream city.

Most clubs know all the Father son stuff pretty early, the top 20 is pretty much locked up a couple weeks out with a couple of twist, how do you think they get it so accurate come Draft time, most clubs have between 3-7 recruiters all around Aus, they don't miss much.

My source had no issue with me sharing it, I have been told things before that I can't share which have never been posted.

The source isnt who you think it is, keep trying to make a huge deal out of something thats very small, 2 post now on my comments, feel free to block me if you have an issue.

I provide snippets to the board who mostly enjoy and appreciate.

I can guarantee the club wouldn't be happy with a) your mate sharing it with you....a nobody, and b) you, for sharing their plans on a public forum... Whether it's public knowledge (in football circles) or not.... what if it's not.

Most people know we will get the FS, its just a matter of what picks, I was told that Marsh had issues 3 weeks ago, did not want to share until it became public plus I didnt know much, source said don't pass that on he also didn't go into any detail of the issues he was having he keeps alot to himself, I get told very small parts, the club still thought he would stay though.

I actually like the way you present information from your sources pretty objectively and only sometimes add your own thoughts.

Keep posting,Beeg,i enjoy your inside information.And it's not as if you're letting out any state secrets,anyway.The players you're talking about have all been linked to Collingwood,so it's not as if you're giving away information that would embarrass the club.

What's your thinking about Brown?Do you think he'll stay?I think we have a real need for him now with Marsh going,and no other key position players in the pipeline.

Makes sense helped win the club 4 flags, probably took unders, now asked again after having these new faces come in on big coin.

Its a weird one he had 4 clubs chasing him mid year, Melbourne, Nth being keen, Brown wanted to stay with the Pies, he wasn't happy that he was told that he would be fighting for a spot against Keeffe next year, club are high on Keeffe as discussed don't be surprised if he is starting FB next year.

Sounds like now that these clubs have dropped off chasing Brown, I really think he will stay so did the source he loves the B&W, I guess he probably now thinks his a bit more valuable to the club that Frost and Marsh have left and is demanding either more money or more years.
