I'm just imagining Trump as our new list manager.

"This Gubby guy...............when I replace him you're gonna find out what trade is all about. He voted for some of the worst trade deals in our history. When I take over I'm gonna do deals..............you're not gonna believe the trades I'll do - they're gonna be so good"

Have to laugh at the Frost deal. If they finish above us next year we actually paid them to take him off our hands...
True, but if we could have talked Lions into it (like a pissing contest) I'd have loved to do Frost and our 2017 1st for their 2017 1st.

If we can't finish above the Lions next year than we have bigger problems than anyone at CFC or on BF Pies board realises.

or at least as someone said traded with Lions before GWS so we could sent Lions 2017 3rd to GWS for WHE instead of our 2017 2nd.

Brown and Williams are EASILY better than Dunn.

He is better than Frost but he's also 29 so he's only getting worse.
Totally disagree but thats fine.
In the end he is a Pies player now, hopefully he proves the naysayers wrong just like Varcoe did.

just wondering if you know that post should be easy to find ie click the up arrow in the quote box
alternatively search function in top right of screen (if on computer) for posts by you in this thread.

Thank you :thumbsu:

as you have said skilled kids in the draft have to be a priority. which fs do you think the club is more keen on

My gut says the club rate Daicos a lot higher than anything we've seen as yet and my head says Brown given he exhibits a lot of the traits you want in a junior (workrate, competitiveness, inside and outside ballwinning and his skills are fine).

Its all moot though if we don't make significant improvements to our FD key areas such as skill acquisition and general development.

I don't think its an issue for us..

write off 2017..but fill in that kpf and kpb next yrs trade.. if we don't then ill f..ing lose it.

2017 ill just party my a.. off.. then ill be back on the bandwagon in 2018.. when I think wed be a definite chance for a top 6 spot in my opinion.

Wonder if Marsh sits out next year or plays. Interesting Hine quoted re Dunn that he is good cover with Brown and Frost gone but nothing about Marsh.

Can only assume WC and Freo where not interested

We must rate them...because with the picks we have we are likely to only get Pick 28, and then use the next few on points for Father Sons. Doesn't seem like we tried really hard to pick up more higher end picks
