Please not more than 1 of Scott, McNiel and Khamis. This week is too important to be ****ing around. Selections tomorrow is going to tell us a LOT about how this year will play out imo

Ahh ffs, why, surely he’s not best 22? Here we go 2021 🙄
If we go in with a backline including Dale, Scott, Gardner & Khamis while leaving Duryea, Richards, Cordy, Wood & JJ out of the team then we all know how it will end up. Bevo is too smart for everyone else though.

Yeah because those guys have been absolutely dominant for us these past couple of years!

I just don't understand the rationale. Why is Scott playing and likely to be playing backline when he won our VFL B&F as a mid/forward and looked hopeless as a backman in the trials

I hope this is the wakeup call that JJ needs. Happy for the match committee to reward preseason form over past achievements/reputation.
Hope it genuinely does otherwise he’s an expensive ressies player. Still under contract for two more years at about 600k a year. Yikes.

Previous AFL form >>>> form against Melbourne’s thirds in a preseason nothing match. But that’s just me. But hey we obviously know what we’re doing we’ve been a dominant side these past few years with brilliant team selections so why should we have any doubts?

I’ll be a bit worried if Dale is also in the team with Scott & McNeil both playing. Means either him or Scott will be down back, where neither of them should be

Sorry if this comes across as condescending but do you know that there's more to preseason than the one televised practice match? I'm genuinely asking if you know this. There are months of training sessions and intraclub matches leading up to those practice matches. I know it's hard to believe things are going on when you can't physically witness them but it's true.
