Both offer nothing defensively. But IMO Henry is much more dangerous offensively and at ground level

Very wasteful once again. I wonder when it will come back to hurt us. We really lack polish going forward and someone who can take a mark 20m out in front.

A key forward would be nice. Probably shouldn’t have pissed all our first round picks up the wall but that’s another discussion.

This is a nothing lead, I’m very nervous about this if the dockers actually start to play in the second half it will be good night us. We NEVER bury a side when we should, thus all our close games.

I know it’s bad for me to think we are in big trouble being we are in front but that’s what it feels like.

You have every right to feel that way because we see it every week with most teams who DO NOT take their chances. We are no different as we have given up 4 goals leads many times but usually hang on, but this is no guarantee of happening. For us to take the next real step requires us to develop a ruthless edge but we do not have that in 2022.

Yep. Normally clubs poach/trade their backup ruck after a breakout season when their value is high. Think WC and Lycett.

I generally never make premature calls like that. I'm too superstitious but I'm standing by it. I have so much faith in this team. We are not going to lose from here. I'll eat ALL my hats if we do.

Half those shot from the boundary in pretty blustery conditions. We had a few where could have chipped to a plate in better position.

Need to lower the eyes a bit at times.

Overall a cracking atmosphere and hope we can eek a 4 goal win

Agree with this. Given we didn’t put them away, clearances will be the key. We need to at least break even this half.

I'd back Oli Henry to have taken a couple of big marks in all those packs we were kicking to 20m out from our goal tonight. He'd have a couple of goals on the board.

Who cares if he doesn't tackle? Couldn't care less, he's good for 2 or 3 most weeks and we are desperate for consistent goal kickers. Just play the kid and let him figure it out.

5 goals is not enough especially with Pies strategy of gearing down in the 3rd quarter when up (or vice versa), this is likely going to be a 10 or less point game by late 4th.... and I'm not sure who will be leading the score.

Yeah but Cameron is better in the air. Cameron has taken more defensive marks this year than Grundy has in his whole career.
The big issue with Grundy is something people haven’t realised.
His big advantage was his running power and ability to run his opponent into the ground then feast out on a makeshift ruckman later.
Problem is teams play 2 specialist rucks now and have done for only 3 years or so it started becoming the norm.
That actually coincided with its Grundys form drop. His main asset was taken away and I won’t be upset if he leaves.
The l ague is littered with good rucks that cost bugger all in a trade.
