What do you think the strategy will be? to absorb the pressure for 3 quarters, then unleash in the last against tired GWS legs, or go all out from the start?

Hopefully everyone that wanted to go went down the reserved seat route, my curmudgeonly father refuses to get there before 7…

It’s filled right up now, must be people knocking off work a little early to queue up.

Trains from Mernda & Hurstbridge are mucked up tonight getting to Jolimont. For those out there, just check what’s going on…

How awful. Someone was hit by a train at jolimont. They’ve cancelled trains on mernda and craigieburn lines. Buses replace trains.
In Japan, they just scape the bodies up and the train continues on its way. Here we close everything down and inconvenience many thousands of people for many hours, when the cause is probably obvious in the first 5 minutes of investigation. Bus replacements are horrible.

FYI anyone out my way...............just been told no trains (buses replacing) from Clifton Hill to MCG tonight on the Mernda/Hurstbridge lines

There’s been an accident or an incident at Jolimont Station, heaps of police cars and fire engines. Not sure if it’s been cleared yet (I’m still in the queue to get into the game) but the trains were stopped on the line. I believe a lot of Pies fans were kicked off the train at Vic Park station. Some of them walked here.

Bang at the start get crowd up and about to put them on back foot and chasing tail.
Need to get defensive set up on outlet from stoppage right as well.

I think it's more for the respect of the dead person rather than the investigation.
