I thank you greatly for introducing the term ‘Fanta monkey’ into my GWS lexicon
P.S I believe it’s spelt Lockie Keeefff
Haven't felt this nervous for years.
This is it. I hope all the hard work and effort over the last 2 years pays off now.
It's time to get loud. Louder than 2010 prelim loud. All those at the ground tonight - Be loud, shake the foundations and help the boys bring the win home !!!
Cheers I just read back enough posts to piece it together.He/she’stalking about the magpie in their backyard.
Japan also has a significantly higher suicide rate than usIn Japan, they just scape the bodies up and the train continues on its way. Here we close everything down and inconvenience many thousands of people for many hours, when the cause is probably obvious in the first 5 minutes of investigation. Bus replacements are horrible.
In other words, with 90% of the crowd behind us, a home ground advantage and finishing clearly above the other teams on top of the ladder, a loss is going to be very hard to both explain and digest. They HAVE to win. Anything less will feel like a huge opportunity missed.TJ on the news just now
Never seen so much B&W in his life and tried to find a GWS support
Did in the end, a woman who’s friends with Wards mother - lol.
I honestly believe 85% of the crowd will be Collingwood, 5% genuine GWS fans, 10% sad opposition fans supporting GWS because their own pathetic team didn't make it this far.In other words, with 90% of the crowd behind us, a home ground advantage and finishing clearly above the other teams on top of the ladder, a loss is going to be very hard to both explain and digest. What's that got to do with clearing the tracks and moving on with life without seriously inconveniencing a large chunk of the population?Japan also has a significantly higher suicide rate than us
OK, I am happy to accept 85% support.I honestly believe 85% of the crowd will be Collingwood, 5% genuine GWS fans, 10% sad opposition fans supporting GWS because their own pathetic team didn't make it this far.
Their culture is not one we should emulate, in this field or in othersWhat's that got to do with clearing the tracks and moving on with life without seriously inconveniencing a large chunk of the population?
Gws on their 3rd interstate trip and backing up on a 6 day break - we should feel confident as everything is to our advantage. In other words, with 90% of the crowd behind us, a home ground advantage and finishing clearly above the other teams on top of the ladder, a loss is going to be very hard to both explain and digest. In terms of running an efficient and decent public transport system, we actually have a hell of a lot to learn from the Japanese. In terms of having an interesting and rich culture, there are also a few pointers we could take from them too. If only they had AFL football.Their culture is not one we should emulate, in this field or in others
All I care is in front when the siren goes. Can't speak for my heart but have given my family all defrib & emergency services locations. Excited, with faith.i hope we're in front 10 minutes in or I'm going to blast the whole team....I just felt like giving a warning
