Haven't felt this nervous for years.

This is it. I hope all the hard work and effort over the last 2 years pays off now.

He/she’stalking about the magpie in their backyard.
Cheers I just read back enough posts to piece it together.

I thought the one in the back was a slingshot. And asdumed that Maggie5 was buying a slingshot if we lose in order to vent her anger on opposition fans (that part made seemed reasonable and appropriate to me.)

Sitting at the Retreat in Abbotsford. Beer fish and chips then the G. Pumped

We win tonight. Confident. Also we have to win the next 2 after this season. Its a must and it will happen. Go Pies

Enjoy the game guys and girls. If we lose I wont be around for a bit but if we win I'll see you guys in here later tonight. My nerves are horrible at the best of times so I'm going to be watching a movie. I'll let me brother go through the pain of watching the game. Catch you guys later.

In Japan, they just scape the bodies up and the train continues on its way. Here we close everything down and inconvenience many thousands of people for many hours, when the cause is probably obvious in the first 5 minutes of investigation. Bus replacements are horrible.
Japan also has a significantly higher suicide rate than us

TJ on the news just now

Never seen so much B&W in his life and tried to find a GWS support

Did in the end, a woman who’s friends with Wards mother - lol.
In other words, with 90% of the crowd behind us, a home ground advantage and finishing clearly above the other teams on top of the ladder, a loss is going to be very hard to both explain and digest. They HAVE to win. Anything less will feel like a huge opportunity missed.

I honestly believe 85% of the crowd will be Collingwood, 5% genuine GWS fans, 10% sad opposition fans supporting GWS because their own pathetic team didn't make it this far.

Gws on their 3rd interstate trip and backing up on a 6 day break - we should feel confident as everything is to our advantage.

Their culture is not one we should emulate, in this field or in others
In terms of running an efficient and decent public transport system, we actually have a hell of a lot to learn from the Japanese. In terms of having an interesting and rich culture, there are also a few pointers we could take from them too. If only they had AFL football.
