Was great seeing Ryan get a game last week but strongly feel this weeks game isnt right for him just yet. Also concerned that we give Ralphsmith a game yet keep Cumbo out of the team. This to me reeks of stubbornness from Dimma after his round 1 comments re-Dusty /Mansell.

Ross is about the only one whose VFL form last week warrants a game but are we going to see something different from him? I doubt it.

Pretty disappointed with our ins this week, felt like we could have exploited the Pies lack of rucks a bit more.
Have you seen the forecast

I assume you are talking about Cumberland, or is it RalphSmith, Clarke or whomever. Nobody showed any form including Ryan apart from 1 Q vs Melb.
Cumberland started the practice game against North playing in the second half with the second stringers, didn't do anything of note when we played Melbourne at Casey, in the VFL practice match against Carlton he was a non factor in the half that I watched and was inconsistent in Morris' words last week against a poor Bullants outfit. On what basis should he then be picked for the seniors?

If we didn't have Martin Hopper and Short missing with injury this week, Noah probably wouldn't even be in the emergencies that is how far off selection he is at present.

That might come across as if I'm anti Noah, but it's not the case at all, on the off chance he gets named as sub(expecting Sonsie to be named), I truly hope he grabs his chance, but if not I hope he comes out at Coburg on Sunday and dominates in his new role and thrusts his name back in front of selectors, because as I've mentioned in his thread having another mid sized forward who can go into the middle and allow Martin & Bolton to spend more time forward will make our forward line even more potent than it is.

Idk, i like the extra run to be honest. I thought we lacked pressure last week. Clarke, ralphsmith and mancell give us that pressure. Clarke a great user as well, may help hitting targets inside 50. With martin, riewoldt, ryan and lynch we lack forward pressure for sure.

Now we have genuine forward targets and smalls around them to crum goals.

I thought martin's impact was lacking last couple of games.
His real weapon was his ability to attract multiple mids to him and release a team mate into space or if not break the tackle and create time for himself and open the game up that way. Then he'd run forward and create a mismatch. This was his magic. When he plays forward, they just throw a lockdown tall on him and he's not the same and then we lack defensive pressure.

Feel like we will be more affective locking the ball in this week with the increased run. Taranto, Mansell, Graham, Rioli, Clarke all elite pressure.

Rumours about Colonwood that they deny but is not making the press

is Steelarse was not seen half naked and disorientated in Williamstown again

The Daicos sisters are not dating each other

Minivan was not seen sniffing around a public toilet again

And that the Colonwood has not put Darcy Moore under a 24hour Dean Laidley watch.

This all cannot be good coming into a big Friday night game.

eat em alive Tigers

Which like for like is Hugo?

He is taking Broad’s spot down back I think? Or Kamdyn becomes the 7th defender and Hugo takes a wing. Have you watched us play in Dimma’s time?

Ross for Hopper
Clark for Short
Mansell for Dusty

Cumberland can learn a new position and start to find form in that position in the VFL. It's rd.3, as soon as he turns it on he will be in. What is the point of bringing him in for one game then dropping him for Dusty... On the other hand he might kick 5.
dont worry, they will suck all the confidence out of him now too

I hope Sonsie is the sub. We've gone in very light-on for ball-winners against a team that has been dominating contested ball in the first two rounds.

Hugo and Clarke are both very outside, and Ross has failed miserably every time we've tried to play him as an inside mid.

Cotchin for hopper. Mansell for Cotchin and Ralphsmith for Dusty. Clarke for Mansell on the bench. I don’t think we lose much on ball.

I think it’s a better structure. 3 forwards 3 smaller runners. Hopefully we lock the ball on better than the first two rounds.

Either way the Cotchin forward experiment should be over.

Miss Dimmas presser today? Literally said he hasn’t been playing much forward

He hasn’t because, we’ve needed to patch holes down field and he hasn’t impacted up forward. He, Martin and Shai haven’t had much of an impact at ground level either in offence or defence.

We’ve played 1+ a lot.

Love how people freak out over selection every week like we have any clue about the intricacies of what Dimma actually needs holistically.

Same people freaked out over JGTI playing round 1 and he was instrumental in stopping 2 certain goals for Carlton in the last quarter.

Even if we lose tomorrow night, it doesn't mean selection is wrong - I know this might be hard to fathom but sometimes the other team is simply better on the day.

Can’t impact up forward of you don’t play there. Shai I agree with Dusty has been better than meets the eye. He is just held at such i high standard we expect more. Stats back that up.

Cotchin hasn't really played forward since the season began

So you say none of the ins apart from Ross warrant a game but you say Cumberland should be in the team. Lol.

Lots of uninspiring names in that team to be honest. I'm worried Collingwood make light work of us.

Mansell
Clarke
Ralphsmith
Ross

All these guys will be in the 2's next week after we lose. Ryan/Young very raw and 2nd games also.

And Sonsie and Cumberland can't get a game? Lmao. Dimma's early season match selection is so baffling
Sonsie coming off a hip flexor injury. Has had 2 games back after a limited pre season.
Cumberland played like a busted bung hole last weekend. No way could he have been picked.
