Collingwood is a fair bit infront of Carlton going into 2010.

I agree and I would say that there is little real argument. Collingwood are not the best club in the League or close to it but are better than the Blues.

we aren't the best going around right now - but as far as close to it goes, i don't think we're that far off right now.

as of 2009 obviously st.kilda and geelong were the standouts.. after that we would have to be in there in the chasing pack along with the bulldogs, and possibly adelaide/hawthorn(if they get back into form)/brisbane

Collingwood is a genuine premiership contender, Carlton wont make the 8. It is a ridiculous argument as Carlton as facts show are the worst team this Millenium.

Interesting indeed SotY. Yet we are still waiting for Collingwood to show us how many more premierships they have won in the same period. We all know that this is what success is, right?

Anyhow looking forward to our clashes (Carlton vs Collingwood) this year again as over the past 3 or so years you haven't won many more than us I'm sure. If in fact you have that is.
