Yes yes we understand you don't like Frost, but Brown & the other 20 guys are at least as horrid. Frost screws up & isn't t particularly talented. But at least he has a dip every week. The others are going to pick up their pay packs while pissing themselves laughing.

That's the problem with our selection panel. We don't care how effective the players actually are as long as they have a dip. Toovey was played all last year despite turning it over and giving up easy goes, but was safe because he had a dip. Maccaffer despite having no role he can play effectively to help the team was selected because he has a dip.

The thing is I don't care about the redemptive performance next week either, as it just seems like we are back where we have been over the last few years.
Too poorly coached, too weak hearted, too dumb and too overawed, to ever be a true threat to this league and we just hide behind excuses or selling 'future'.

I said the same thing to my wife. I don't want to see the big, gutsy performance next week because it makes tonight all the more shameful and inexplicable.

If I could see Caff had nothing to offer long before tonight's game then how is it possible for an elite coaching panel to be blind to his many weaknesses? He doesn't kick goals, lacks pace and is not creative.I'm sure he's a nice bloke though.

Wasnt happy with the selection of the team Grundy Aish Howe straight in for starters.
You would hope they will show some kind of fight in the second half? The players have to show some respect for themselves and more importantly for the jumper and the club. Very Very pissed at this

How are we going on here, code red meltdown? No need to panic, first game and Sydney are hot. Need to lift intensity as a minimum for the rest of the game. Obviously we can't win but need to win the second half.

Wasn't Langdon's fault either. I'd blame coaching or the midfield for that one, although it is hard without being at the ground to see where the exact fault is...especially with the shoddy camera work!

Nah my point was more that it was Frost's fault for feeding off the guy that's on fire. You're correct though that's a system error our coaches encourage players to leave there men to readily and in this instance it allowed Buddy out for another.

Our forward line is non-existent and let the Swans defenders waltz the ball out of their defence

Our Midfield is piss weak and is getting easily shredded by the Swans superior mids

Our Defence lacks ANY skill what so ever, appears to have no structure or leadership.. needs a COMPLETE overhaul.

As bad as we've been the one thing I'm sure of is that this next 60 minutes of football will define us as a playing group.

Minimum standard of expectation from here should be to win the second half by 5-6 goals, but I just can't see this happening unfortunately.

As bad as we've played, Sydney have been awesome. Killing it out of the middle, hungrier around the ball and just genuinely better all around the ground.

We are flat and reactionary- particularly in the middle. We need to get our hands on the footy and change the tempo. They win the ball inside too easily and then again get the ball into space too easily.
