Pinning the schedules to the top of the page for both boxing and MMA

Apparently was into that stuff when he was young but not anymore. He’s more your typical American patriot/anti-communist/anti-woke type operator. I’ve become a fan.

Seemed ok to me as well and then i heard about the anti stuff
Seems like he's grown up a fair bit
I'm in
I can't stand izzy

I agree with Strickland's views for the majority but what I don't like about him is the shit he talks about his opponents. There's got to be a level of respect in these kinds of sports and he just comes across as a bit of a wank when he does it.

This came up in my YouTube feed
Tyson's uppercuts were brutal
Ribalta had a pretty good chin too!

Tyson would get so low so his opponents shots wouldn't carry as much damage - much less in a punch if you're throwing it down as opposed to straight or up. Unbelievable that he fought at HW really.

Main card this weekend is pretty shit for a PPV but there are still plenty of fighters who I enjoy watching fighting throughout the night. Looking forward to seeing Tuivasa, Pedro, Mullarkey, Jenkins, Ulberg and Tafa fight. Will also be interesting to see if Blood Diamond can make something of his UFC career or if he'll be 0-3 and cut. It's a shame that the UFC weren't willing to cough up the cash to get Holland to fly over to Sydney to fight JDM - that would've added another banger to the main card.

He’s found his niche as the white trash shit talker that appeals to a large demographic of the American UFC fan base in particular.

He’s definitely a bit cringy that’s for sure. But one thing I really like about him is that he’s really engaging with his fanbase. He’s just a madman.

Yep definitely can't fault him for that. UFC has become a bit WWEish, the fighters know that it's the character that sells the fight most of the time. Covington a prime example of that and more have just followed suit.

Very true.

But seriously how good was it seeing Sean rocking a Crocodile Dundee Akubra? Watching the press conference you could see him starting to win over the crowd. He’s putting on an act but there’s layers of sincerity in what he does and I reckon his fanbase recognise that. Izzy on the other hand is complete fake news!

For what it's worth I hope he does the same to Adesanya, his weird shit to Dricus amongst other stuff has turned me right off him

Honestly I like Strickland better than Izzy. Yes he says ridiculous shit constantly but there's some real stuff mixed in with the bullshit. He also clearly doesn't take himself seriously whereas Izzy thinks he's a real life super hero. Izzy is going to pick him apart and most likely leave Strickland a bloody pulp though

Yep agree. Strickland hasn’t shown much knockout power but he can take a punch. I’m expecting Izzy to play it pretty safe and win convincingly by decision unless Strickland comes at him hard, then it will end in a brutal counter.

My guess is Izzy chops up Strickland's legs for 2-3 rounds before getting a late stoppage when Sean's plodding forward becomes too wobbly and unsteady. Strickland needs to wrestle to win so Izzy will kill the legs early to ensure that he doesn't have the power/explosion to execute a takedown

Izzy is a pretty boring fighter too. Takes him ages to get into a fight and puts the crowd to sleep with his constant faints.

Yep he’s become overly defensive probably due to being knocked down/out several times recently. He was lucky to escape out of the first round against Strickland.

Strickland vs Du Plessis will be fireworks.
