Going by World Series Classics, they used to get 70,000-80,000 to ODIs at the MCG, and sell out the SCG entirely against countries like India or Sri Lanka in the mid-'80s when we were at our lowest ebb. Full of passionate Australian support with banners and all. That's obviously before Taylor and Healy's time, but still. The crowds against Sri Lanka earlier in the summer were pathetic, and the 'G is half empty tonight.

Every time we've had a solid start in ODI's, they suddenly slow and don't take any risks yet they've got 10 wickets, now 9 in the bag. Watson dominates then blocks out a few overs, what is the point? Just keep smashing them or at least smash one into Clarke.
