Yeah so for the masses Fingers Finnigan who is a BFNAAK gets an offer from the Hawks and we decide we don't want to match that. How does that equal a shambles?

It seems Fingers would have stayed had we offered him a deal. As for the others NFI. I am though not sure this is just about recruiting or past selections.
Has to be more to it. I don't buy this is about a lack of having a CHB? Or not recruiting McDonald when Phillips was rated a top 5 selection himself.

Yes I'm underwhelmed by Mahony, Lazzaro, Spicer selections but again I don't believe Scott Claytons who is an experienced campaigner just sat back and said ok, your call Luffs cause I trust ya.

We want to have a side built on speed and the ability to play numerous positions, so I'd suggest any decisions are a collective choice.

But I wouldn't know.

Rawlings is not a great media performer at the best of times. After last nights contradictory effort it seems ridiculous to trot him out again. Would Ben do better? Not sure. Have only heard limited media from him so let's see.

Just get the story right, tell the truth, be consistent. Simple PR rules.

Sadly, whether we are a 'club in crisis' or just taking the opportunity to reset a significant area of the club (recruitment and development) we are open to media crucifixion. We look like a rabble. Every little change will look like a crisis again - every time a player looks unhappy it will fuel another story. The scrutiny will be never ending.

Club needs to get their messaging right, now. That needs to come from the top. Ben? Where are you? Are you up to it? Or are you part of the problem?

One thing he's good at is smooth talking, a very good 'talker'.. not much of a 'walker' by the looks..

Listening to North Talk, some interesting comments from the host Ross Payne who has relationships he states with those at the club, says that quote “—the wrong people left Arden St. today” and that there is some bad actors at the club still with leaks possibly continuing.

I don‘t know why anyone else from the club needs to speak. Members are signed up for this year, sponsors are on board, no players are going to make firm decisions about their futures this week. If the senior team keeps up the intensity and shows improvement over the rest of the season, everything will seem better - if they don’t, nothing anyone says in the media will make any difference.

Yeah it was pretty much in complete opposite to what one might be reading here or what the media is saying and it just compounds even more so to this disconnect between the club and the fans as to what the hell is going on.

For context, they're not asking in a literal sense. They're saying she/Amarfio should be coming out to nip this in the bud instead of letting rumours circulate. He's saying they should come out strong and honest, before the story gets out of control.

I do think a presser with Hood, Amarilfo, Noble, McPherson, Rawlings, JZ where they address everything warts and all isn’t a bad idea. Take ownership of the narrative and stop the media hogwash.
