Anyone watching footy classified deserves what they get. I accidentally caught a bit of Kane Cornes when I switched in the radio this morning and he is just not worth listening to, prime candidate for replacement by artificial lack of intelligence.
Same.

He actually said we’d be happy today because we wanted to lose so we could put two hands out to ask for assistance.

Nothing but a troll.

Can’t script it. If we won, they would say the PP talks should be off. If we lost, we’re ‘happy?’ because we have another leg to stand on for assistance?

Yeah, look, I cant lie. I figured losing would be the only way to take assistance seriously by the AFL and media landscape. So I’m kinda ok with it. A win by a team who couldn’t win for rats when it mattered but a win against west coast was going to make me feel proud? I’m disappointed and sickened by the roller coaster half assed effort. But feel better knowing we’re legitimately shit and need help.

But I 100% was at the saints game going hysterical for a win…

Just gave us a big whack on Footy Classified.

How’s Brian Cooks form?..

No we don’t want the draft compromised if north get compensation 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Coming from the Carltank hierarchy 🤣🤣🤣🤣

* off Cookie..
To be fair Cook may have been also referring to academy kids and F/S as well in that comment. Healy asked him "should North get free access to a top 10 kid in the draft"? Of course Cook is going to say "probably not". Then Brad Johnno basically strong armed him after that into agreeing with him that North should "work their way out of it themselves". Cook sounded hesistant to say anything but was kinda goaded into it by them.

Pretty close to me. I was despondently furious at the lack of effort against Hawthorn and very annoyed to see us give it up against St Kilda. At the end of the day losing another game to West Coast after we've refused to take wins on the table bothers me less for some reason.

So when there is talk of a priority pick all of a sudden we have no shortage of talent but the rest of the time the majority of these players are talked about negatively by a lot of media and oppo fans.

Love how they think happy meal is talent at pick 8 ten years ago

Exactly, talk of potential assistance and they reckon Clarko has a decent list to work with. Mckay will be gone, LMac, Bon & Stepho are poo, and then throw in griff with the ACL. Thomas is shaky at this stage too with his off field stuff, doing more bad than good

Maybe we should rephrase it.

Despite Logue, LDU, Sheezel, Wardlaw
Which one of those guys would be in their clubs starting line up?

(McKay not included)

I counted 12 picks, since 2013, that’s a 10 year period. So 10 picks would be the norm. And they’re not all guaranteed to survive the cull at year’s end.

If you're a level-headed opposition fan who never watches us, you'd look at that list, scratch your head and wonder wtf happened. Player development? Culture? Or addicted to recycled top 10 picks despite red flags, prone to wearing rose-tinted father-son and academy pick glasses?

The mistake is to look for a point, that's far too much analysis, you're supposed to look at the bright colours and bold type with lots of numbers and just agree that North Melbourne deserve nothing!
I can't help it. What is Ben McKay on the list for? Was pick 21 a first rounder in 2015?
