Well done you deserve to win the granny and i think you will! Gee being a North supporter watching NR and Cosi is like watching Carey and Mc ernan in thier prime, If you get something outa milny and schnieds you will win by 10 goals.

Congratulations and good luck Saints fans.

It is an amazing feeling to see your team in the Grand Final, and I hope to god your boys can win it. If the other 21 players follow the lead of your captain, you are near certainties.

Kudos to all the Doggies supporters in this thread. We've both been on the receiving end of some horrendous prelim losses. I wouldn't be big enough to post congrats on your board if we'd lost.

lol what is it with pie fans thinking they'll beat the cats? can someone ****ing answer that for me?

Not gonna happen.

Again, well done tonight Saints.

Do you ever bother to look at posters sign-up date?

If he's a Pies supporter I'll be amazed. 75% of all newly signed supporters this month are escaped lunatics or Carlton trolls, mostly Carlton trolls, but some are both.:D

I like both the Saints and the Dogs, so I didn't care who won tonight. You guys got all the breaks this time, in fact it's the first time I can remember the Saints getting the best of the umpiring (hope it's the start of a trend, actually, just not against the Dogs & the Dees!)

But you've been the best club by far over the year and deserve to be in the GF. You'd better win it next week, and I hope for the sake of your collective health that it's over long before the end and you don't have to take another finish like that! Good luck!

Good luck next week, give them (most likely Geelong) hell.

Congrats guys, my best mate is a Sainter and I called him after the game and I've never known him to be so quiet after a win, I put it down to shock and too much joy of finally breaking the hoodoo of the prelim he didn't know what to do:D. I'm sure a few of you are the same.

Congrats again and here's hoping you can take it home next week :thumbsu:

Might've just lost his voice. I did

Thanks for the wishes from other clubs - especially the Doggies fans.

We've done all the hard work during the season, hopefully the great man can bring it home for us next week! (Nick Riewoldttttttttttt)

I don't think any other supporter in the league knows how we feel right now apart from Saints supporters. Unlike last season after losing to Geelong I didn't get ridiculed on the street or on the train but mainly comiserations from your fellow supporters. I'll be a Saints supporter for 1 week. Go get the cup, win the flag guys!

Great stuff saints. Clint Jones is the man.

Glad someone said it. He was clearly our best player tonight. When we were being swamped (most of the night), he was the rock turning back the tide.

I hate the Saints. I hate every other team right now.

Well done on making the GF Saints and Sainters alike, hope you give it everything next week.

Never has someone been so welcome on the Saints board for saying that. It was a heart breaker.

Saints fans,

Well done. Hope you enjoyed it.

Obviously I am gutted, but I am enormously happy for the saints and their fans.

You guys have classy supporters. We know what each other has been through down the years. Leaving the ground tonight got several pats on the shoulder and words of bad luck from saints fans. Had we won I would have done the same.

Anyway, I'll be barracking fiercely for you guys next week. You deserve to break your drought, and I think you will.

Well done.

Well done guys! Stoked for you. What a fantastic game, but now it's time to go all the way!! My family are all Sainters (as was I when I was quite young, and still have a big ol' soft spot for them) and I have lived with their pain year after year. My dad has been a Saint all his life, but was only 10 when you guys got the 66 flag and barely remembers watching it. He isn't an "Ah dang we lost :(" supporter. He's a throw everything, hit furniture, yell, scream, chuck your scarf in the fire and be depressed for the entire off-season kind of supporter. Very much enjoyed a wonderful family moment tonight, all sitting around the computer with the game day page up listening to SEN, and occasionally glancing at the delayed crap channel 7 dishes up week after week. The final 10 minutes we are all pulling our hair out from frustration and anxiety, then when the siren went and we all screamed, waking up my 10year old sister who starts yelling from her bed "ARE WE IN THE GRAND FINAL!!!?" Ahhhhhhhh yes :) You can do it guys! 2009 is your year and you deserve it! Hope as many of you as possible get seats to the Granny to witness St Kilda's 2nd flag as it goes down in history! Right behind ya, guys!:thumbsu:
