Congratulations St Kilda and really good luck for tomorrows grand final.

I know what it feels like to support a club that has been stuck on the bottom, when people say shouldn't be in the competition, when there seems no hope like you will ever witness your club winning a premiership and suffer heartbreaking finals losses(am feeling distraught with sadness now after one).

I know what it is like because I support a club that has the same history to you.And thus I know the majority of your supporters will be long suffering, totally loyal supporters who's big wish in life is to once, just once, know what it is like to see their team win a flag.

So, with all that in mind, I wish you all the best next week. I would love to see you win it(seeing the doggies can't) and I hope it is a day to remember for the rest of your lives for all the right reasons.

Good luck

I was hoping the Doggies would win the flag this year for sentimental reasons but now that isn't happening you will find me cheering for you next week no matter who you play. Us underdogs need to stick together, y'know.

Enjoy the week and good luck for the big day.

Enjoy these next 7 days Saints fans, watching tonights game in the knowledge that your team is already there, the Brownlow on Monday, all the media and hype during the week, the last training session at Moorabbin on Thursday, the Grand Final Parade on Friday, and then the big one next Saturday. It's a truly amazing week when your team is in the Grand Final, and I hope that you guys can reach that Holy Grail and then party like no tomorrow!

Haha, I felt worse beating the Dogs, their everyone's Second Team, but 1 Key Forward and look out I reckon, I was saying this to an old bulldogs fan who was there in 54', kinda brightened her mood a bit :).

But yeah Carn Saints... Grand Final day awaits :D

Congratulations on making the GF Sainters.

I am gutted by our loss, but losing to you guys makes it a tad better. I know after the stellar season your team has had, that you would have been devastated if we had got up.

Please smash either the cocky cats or the feral pies next week, and not make our loss in vain.:)

While shaking and almost crying during the last quarter, I was starting to formulate text messages in my head to Doggies supporters I know which I also would have posted on their board. I would have been disappointed, of course, but they played a heck of a game last night and would have deserved a win.

The players can hold their heads up after giving everything that had (except a bit of luck and a superstar tall forward) and the supporters can be prould of their team and hold their heads up for having the class to congratulate us on this board.

I was preparing last night to say the same to you guys.

Well done Saints. i watched the whole game and was glued to my seat...
I think i may turn to support the saints over whoever wins the other game today, especially if you play Collingwood... big Nick to kick 5!!

Congratulations St Kilda. Will be hurting but supporting you next week. At least one team can end their premiership drought-(not Collingwood: 19 years is not a drought!!!)

That number 12 of yours is an out and out star :thumbsu:

Best of luck.

For the one and only time, GO SAINTS!

Congratulations guys.
Im dissapointed we arent in the GF next week, but i am also happy for you guys. If we cant win it i hope you guys can.

Good Luck

I think if we'd lost then we'd all be barking for the Doggies in the GF. It appears that the Bulldog fans are the same with us. Nice one. Real sport.

Some serious class being shown by the Doggies supporters.

A few posters got carried away thinking the Saints were going to win by a similar margin to earlier in the season, but there was no doubt to me this was going to be a close one.

Great to see no injuries, no reports, and two teams giving it a massive crack.

Don't think too many Saints fans would begrudge the Dogs a flag soon (we just want one first!).

It has taken a while for me to be able to post but congrats to Saints and I will be supporting you next week.

Was a titanic battle with the difference being Reiwoldt, who is just a superstar despite a great game by his opponent Morris.

Gutted. Shattered. Still. And will be for a long long time.
But credit where it is due. Congratulations.
How I envy you.
You know those fleeting moments you get, thinking ahead of attending the parade on Friday, devouring all the papers and watching every tv related story like a chair bound Jerry Springer fattie and all the shenanigans that come with a grand final berth. I miss them again. Funny I say that, cos I properly dont know what its like. But I dream like every other fanatical supporter.
Its not cos I was over-confident or presumptuous- but you dare to dream. And this is also what entrances me to this great game of ours.
I wish you guys all the best. Well deserved. Well won.
This is about all I can muster right now but I wanted to make sure I posted my good wishes. Cos I will have dark thoughts every so often over the off-season. But this is good in a way. Its footy. And I love my club.

. But I dream like every other fanatical supporter.

We know how you feel brother. That's what makes this game so great as you said. When you lose belief, the fun disappears. The game isn't fun without all the nerves, changing emotions, despair, joy. True supporters like yourself will know that you are right there in terms of obtaining the ultimate prize. You just need to stick fat and don't make lots of over-reactionary changes like many clubs to do.

I sincerely applaude your and your Doggie brethren for the well wishes you have displayed here. I think our respective teams have earnt the respect of each other and hopefully we can count on your support as we seek to obtain the Holy Grail.

All the best my brother and keep the faith.
