Karl Langdon saying on 6PR right now he was 'well informed' that last year Tim English was prepared to play for West Coast...instead they re-signed NicNat for two years...I'm sick
He might have been prepared to play for us but we probably would have had to give up the pick we traded for Ginbey's and Hewett's picks at a minimum to get him

Heard that Georgiadis is back in WA after doing his knee last week and won’t be going back to SA. West coast a chance of nabbing him seasons end?
Hope Georgiadis comes out in a press conference blasting ports efforts and medical staff and say how professional we are compared.

Hopefully tonights viewing choices puts focus on priority picks for wce and north. Surely both teams need an extra pick even if its just end of R1. Must be something like 4 wins in the last 30 games for both teams.

Reckon it’ll take one more stinker of a season for that to happen. Rest of the league would be up in arms if we got it after two years, even if they are historically bad.

Xavier Walsh, remember the name. EP colts player in his 1st game of the year is tearing the game apart. Tall left footer playing FF, sticky hands - recruiters would be salivating.
Drafted to us: hammy

Yeh, why do that when we can sign him as a free agent after 2024 & keep all our draft capital

And what picks would we have to give up?

And who would he be tapping it to? Players in wheelchairs?

We can't even trade rotham now because he is officially owned by Charlie Curnow

Why the **** would we trade for English? It'd be the Jackson trade mk2, except English is actually a good player.

We'd completely **** our list if we'd traded for him.

While that is true, just because pick one if worth 3000, that doesn't mean that we should be getting picks in the late teens or picks 8+9 just because it's equivalent it even more than 3000 points. If the club really did that then the fans will go full nuclear especially me.

With a player of Reid's potential caliber, more than 3000 points is needed so clubs looking to pay up must pay more than 3000 points in picks. As you mentioned supply and demand for Reid or some gun skyrocketing prospect if they maintains their form will push his value up much higher than 3000 points.

I'm getting the impression that you want the club to trade for picks 8+9 or picks 16, 17 and 18 which is unders IMO for a player like Reid. For picks 8+9 you gotta add either a F1 or another picks in the late teens. You would need more than that if the club is gonna trade away pick 1.
That is a totally rubbish reading ability.

Where did I suggest WCE will have a pick 1?
There is no "we" or "WCE" mentioned in the post. (Reid‘s name was not mentioned either).

I think you are trying to give out too many feedback showing off you are actively participating without reading in detail of what they mean.

I suggest you read it again. That post was nothing but facts and mathmatical equality.

I think you need to apologise to me on this careless reading.

I don't think North need another one. They've had one along with a heap of other top picks. It takes time for those players to get good, but they will come good. I'd rather North's list over a lot of other clubs.

If we go 2 wins and a percentage under 70, then maybe we have a case, but my gut feel is the AFL will want to see one more season.

Why? Blowing top picks for English last year would have been a crazy, desperate move.

Im rapt he is prepared to come and play for us. Lets hope he is prepared to wait until the end of 2024, enjoy playing finals atthe Dogs and comes across as a RFA and cost no draft capital and we load up with quality kids this draft and 2024.

Exactly, trading for English would have literally stuffed our rebuild from the start and we'd still be getting hammered like this anyway
