Yep you are correct, it's on the south side of Pakky near Heritage Springs, One friggin family that does not get the concept of isolating
So we have about 245 active cases in Australia as of yesterday, 141 of them were in Vic
Last time Vic had this many active cases was back in the middle of April.
We are still nowhere near our peak of 621 from the end of March though
Expect when DHHS update their count today we will be sitting somewhere around 160-170 active cases
Should be 174, before recoveries are counted for today.
20 new cases yesterday, but with 9 recoveries, rise of 11.

3 months ago, almost to the day, Victoria was experiencing 50+ new cases per day, peaking at 111 on March 28th.
This is what really confuses me about this virusIt would be really interesting to know how many of these new cases are ‘sick’. I mean a lot of people are being tested and showing positive just because they would be classified a close contact of a confirmed case, and otherwise may not have been tested. The breakdown between symptomatic and asymptomatic cases would be really interesting.
We have 16 in hospital and just 2 people in intensive case which is staggeringly low when you think about it.
Months and months of 'you can have it and not know' turns into 'boy who cried wolf'. Even the total cases, who gives a heck. How many are in hospital? Not many. This is what really confuses me about this virus
All these sports stars in the US who are being tested and are positive seem to be fine and asymptomatic.
And hear in Oz there doesn’t seem to be many people on there death bed cos of it, most are home isolating
Is this actually as bad as they making it out to be?
You can understand why so many people don’t give a fu** anymore cos the information makes no sense we are getting
Given the nature of Pakenham it's somewhat plausible they've not passed it on to anyone else in the area.Yep you are correct, it's on the south side of Pakky near Heritage Springs, One friggin family that does not get the concept of isolating

5 could very well just be the family.

It's a fair question but if you get it and are fine, you could still pass it on to someone who could die from it.This is what really confuses me about this virus

Talk about reckless.Problem is mum had it, 2 elder kids got infected and shut down the primary school, then sent her youngest to child care AFTER the positive diagnosis took out the worker. Along the way she took out her doctor on Main St, and that's the 1,2,3,4,5 cases.
I know personally I never go down that way so I'm not worried, heck I've been out of shire boundaries once since March. I'm lucky I can work 100% from home unlike Mrs Slabs who's an aged care worker.
Even the states are starting to play politics. Instead of the whole "We're in it together" it's become "You're on your own"Absolutely, just look at the Victorian opposition leader. Has flipped sides about ten times. It's so see through but those sound bites make the news.
It’s a trade-off. Australia has chosen to provide more granular location data than NZ. As a result they have to limit a lot of other personal information, to prevent patients being identified.Tell you what NZ provides a lot more data then we do.
