Hospital has been as busy as ever.
I reckon its a case of the 2nd and 3rd shots losing their defensiveness and covid still being in the community.
Was down to 3-4 a month ago but now sitting firmly around the 20 mark.
I know a lot more that have had the spicey flu in the past few weeks than I've heard about in the past few months.
as well as those that were vaccinated having a higher risk of being seriously ill once immunity wore off.

WHO have declared the pandemic over, last night

What an experience that all was since my first post back on March 4th 2020
The bloke on first base?

Pretty good skit from an ex prime minister and an ex treasurer.
Actually just ran it by my best little mate the other night. I got about 2 minutes of quiet, 2 minutes of laughter and about 97 questions. I'll roll it by him again in a year or 2 🙃

Oh look fancy that we have to repay the money, oh look Victoria is ****ed.

171 billion will be our debt by 2027. Luckily my new job will afford me an opportunity to work in another state. Last one out turn off the lights. The once greatest state is now an utter shambles.

Farking madness and yes the voters are also responsible.

Need me to show you around Radelaide? Won't take long.

HA-Crikey I'd end up in a barrel.

Nah Queensland, WA or NSW are viable options for the job, not sure we have an office in SA, lol
If you haven't been shot on Hoddle St yet then you'll be fine.

Not sure West Coast fans would be able to handle you. Might get messy over there.

Who ever thought up the idea of creating a job where you take people for lunch or dinner over a few beers or wines. And sold that to the Execs needs a statue in his/her honor.

A moments silence for the 100 odd lives lost to covid this week. Or do we no longer GAF?

Most of your Saturday nights end up in a barrel, handcuffed or something untoward don’t they?
Bloody heck Ms Sharon has me on the straight and narrow fyi.

I live the quiet life these days. Taken up gold prospecting.

Although we are at a bar currently enjoying a cocktail or two.

Very becoming one may say

No one genuinely seems to GAF anymore which is pretty sad.
Well I have no comment on that mate . And I know we had our moments during the the whole fiasco but I appreciated your thoughts. You never made it personal.

But yeah well maybe I do feel a little vindicated now. As yeah no one cares amd it’s still around

Just our state is felt broke that’s the only difference.

Way inflation is traveling it will be chump change in no time.

LOL. Why do people get scared with debt? Debt is not bad.
Whilst its not exactly great either the public have been conditioned to see it as some kind of political scoreboard. Governments ( federal at least) are not the same as you and i in that they have a unique set of levers available to them, need some money, simples print some more, need to reign a bit in. just pass a few new taxation bills or wait for a high inflationary cycle/bracket creep( the gift that keeps giving) to effectively reduce your real debt.

Sloppy joe Hockey was a master of the spend thrift spin, the best one was the "age of entitlement" malarky, didnt take him long to forget that punchline when he was double dipping as a diplomat whilst claiming his generous taxpayer pension concurrently.

also have to love that they wont pass laws to automatically adjust bracket creep but dont have a problem bumping up our beer excise every 6 months by CPI !!
