What did he do exactly? Every time anyone is criticised from that time it’s countered with, “but he got us through Walsh’s death”. And how is “get us into a grand final” a service to football?
I'll give him props for handling the Walsh deal pretty well, I mean it was an unprecedented thing.

Getting us to a GF though, that's what our club with that list should have been doing. Even then, he played no real role in how we went on field.

Even if he did, he burned up any credit within 6 months.

Well he presided over the club from a distance as he lived in Sydney (could be wrong but I heard that somewhere) so when you are absent and dont really rule, then the kids will play and this probably goes a long way to explain why a lot of things happened where a lack of accountability seems to be the issue.

Chapman lived in Adelaide. He used to live next door to Walsh, from memory.

I imagine his submission for the award said more about the Crows Foundation and the work with First Nations people than it did winning or losing games.

Serious question (and I'm not a Chappy fan by any means)... how can you have no responsibility when it comes to the clubs good times/successes but then be responsible for the clubs failures?

Surely you cant have it both ways.

Just renewed my digital membership, $350 for a year of Kayo Basic + $20 Crows Shop voucher.

The basic package on Kayo is going up in March 2025:

… so it’s a pretty good saving to go through an AFL membership.
Wtf. Trying to put themselves out of business?

If I could be arsed, I'd register a bunch of emails I can get free months with. I don't think I can be bothered. Certainly not paying that.

Genuine question, what success?
Agree that is something to debate.
We havent had the ultimate success with Chapman at the helm, but there have been successful seasons nonetheless.
My point is we tend to blame management for all the problems with the club, but never praise them for any successful moments.

Crows Digital – Get Kayo with the Crows and SAVE! Enjoy a 12-month Kayo Basic subscription, giving you live and on-demand access to every match of the 2025 Toyota Premiership Season, plus 50 other sports.
I took the Kayo membership last year ......cancelled it today

Reasons:
1. The package price increased from $259 to $350 per annum (35% increase)
2. The rationale provided by the membership Dept was that Kayo was increasing prices ....wrong ! the basic package remains the same price, only the premium (4K) is increasing to $40 per month
3. The Crows / Kayo package is SD resolution
4. In the email I received, it stated if I did not renew, my subscription would transfer to hubble at the standard rate
Given this obviously refers to a non-related package, it was erroneous to include the statement in the email

So, given I only watch Kayo for 7 months of the footy season ....I'll simply take the 4K Premium package, and save myself $70 pa

There has to be something between the deal between the clubs and Kayo, GWS is also $350 now. Clearly Kayo trying to claw more money
