2nds Crows in SANFL season 2018

I saw a fair bit of Gallucci in the TAC Comp, this is not the player I saw. His blistering pace, high flying and athleticism has disappeared.....and his kicking was very ordinary in the TAC Comp, it is very, very very ordinary now.

Davis looks like quality!

Wilson could probably play a bit of afl if needed.

Edwards solid for a skinny kid. Long way to go but he's a decent footballer.

I like O'Brien. He was clearly knackered towards the end but he was pretty good around the ground early. Not sure if he'll make it but he's a much better prospect than hunter.

Didn't see enough of himmelberg to comment.

Jarman not fit enough still. Couldn't really get going.

Dear lacks class.

Not much else to say really. Was always going to be a blood bath especially with no one on the bench and our best player off. A few positives and some negatives that were pretty much already known. Gonna be a long year for them if we don't get players back.

Did anyone actually expect a different result today?? I mean the quality and quantity of missing players was always too much.

On the plus side Davis looked ok as did Wilson

Not going to judge Galluci on one game , but he can’t get near it and has been rag dolled a few times.

I have to say I was surprised we drafted him with lads like SPP, Jarrod Berry, Alex Witherden and Will Hayward still on the board at that ime....on what I'd seen I could not see an AFL midfielder in him at his size because he was already very mature and well muscled body wise. Looked a HBF, HFF type to me. I still hold hope he has a future as a defensive small forward or a running small defender because I still don't see a midfielder in him.

Poor game from Gallucci - questions have to start being asked about our ignoring of the likes of Berry, Witherden and Hayward.

At least when Doedee was playing SANFL I could see the talent - athleticism, good height/pace, defensive pressure and game smarts. I'm just not seeing the upside with Gallucci.

But apparently according to some he's going to be better than that ' under achiever' Douglas . The guy that finishes top 6 in best and fairests

Need more from Gallucci, Signorello and Jarman. All 3 into their 2nd year yet can’t get anywhere near enough of it for mid sized players. Need to be doing a lot more if they want AFL careers. Edwards currently our 2nd best midfielder as a skinny 18 year old.

Sig was about 5 lengths better than the others

I have a feeling we were overawed by his athletic traits and 'good bloke factor' after watching him from years before his draft year.

That said he was quite good in the SANFL towards the end of the year last year, should have played more AFL games.

Maybe his injury is still troubling him?

That said he was quite good in the SANFL towards the end of the year last year, should have played more AFL games.

Yeah Sig has impressed me this off season, and I reckon he will look better in a better side. The more players we can get back the more space he will get

I reckon he's got some talent, and definetly athltic ability but probably not enough for a first rounder at this stage.

Felt he deserved more of a go at senior level last year though

His brother Tom is available in this year's draft, very similar game style, hard as a cat's head, manic attack on the ball and the ball carrier bit shorter than Jarrod at around the 186cm mark but great size for a midfielder, equally as good athletically as Jarrod with a touch more speed and acceleration.

Witherden fair enough he was injured as u18 and probably not what we needed.
Hayward was great underager but we had a great Frwd line probably didn't fit.
Berry tho was perfect for us and exactly what we needed, most of us agreed on here.

Hard to judge Jackson today, playing his first game for us against a pretty well full Port side in a side with 10 top ups and no bench.

Jarman I agree, just doesn't appear to have any fitness whatsoever. Our recruiters are very rarely wrong.
