rarely have I enjoyed a game of football more. That game was an absolute cracker. I have not and never will be a crows fan but I hate port as much as the next guy and that was a great team win. Rankine is a freakshow. Pedlar will be a club champion. Dawson is a club legend already.
The enemy of our enemy is a friend.

Please smash them next week too, suck all the life out of them

He's 100% correct

Would you like to take this one back DABM?

It was in reference to the Sholl tackle before the umpire had called play-on … when SPP tackled Sholl AS he was kicking the ball after a mark from well within the protected area.

The only two things SPP can do there is (1) get out of the area UNTIL the umpire says play on (2) be in the area following an opponent within 2m.

The only charge they made to that rule last year was the the ‘split’ situation.

I’m sure you have reflected and realised you were wrong.

Last night wasn’t just one of the best non Collingwood games I’ve seen, but one of the best games I’ve seen in years.

Thanks for smashing those Port Power Pretenders.
I’m assuming you’re Victorian and as a Vic, would you prefer to watch that game on a Friday night or other Vic teams excluding Collingwood? Criminal this doesn’t get standalone Friday night status

It's right

SPPs opponent was there. He was allowed to be there

its incorrect. he hasn't moved off his line and clearly in the replay the umpire hasn't called or signalled play on until after the tackle is laid. thats my view on it. that's what the protected area is there for.
There is no protected area if there's a player in it

It's play on when the umpire decides that he's played on (which he had)

100% the showdown. It’s criminal it doesn’t get the national exposure it should. In any other league in the world it would.
