Surely someone here gives Bulleen a crack this week. Cookson is back in - trained the house down last night. We have a few more guys coming back down too so hopefully we will put up a good show. Realistically it may be a battle for the bottom couple of spots, but we have improved everyweek (let's face it we had to) and we will take our share of scalps this year. C'mon cobras!

Wasn't that supposed to be the surprise inclusion that Mt Lilydale didn't know about. You know the spanner in the works?????!!! Just kidding big fella.

Should be good competition tomorrow - a bit of splash & dash in the mud.

got to love the wet conditions - paradise for me! Much fun to be had tomorrow. We just need to ensure the umpires look after the guys going hard at it - taking the front position or making the play. In other words - look after me buddy! LOL!

We are missing a heap, at least 12 definite seniors and probably 24 across the club, not just injury but a heap unavialible for various reasons.

You should definitely underestimate us Waz we will really be struggling ; )

Another unnamed dude who is having a crack. Clearly that isn't true and I am sure you need to pick your mark better than Browny. He has stuck by the club through tougher times than this and has put his hand up more often than most.
Hopefully by this time on Saturday we will have proven all the doutbers wrong - won the ressies, and are well on the way to winning the seniors as well.

My tips will stay roughly the same:
South Mornington - too good at home - also a long way to travel on an ordinary day.
Eltham too good - even though they don't like the wet too much at home they will be too good.
St Marys to good for Box Hill Nth - will be a close one.
I'm picking the snakes to beat Albert park - I think they will really take it up to the Falcons in the wet - too many injuries.
I can't decide between Eley Park and Syndal - will be close - no home ground advantage - the sharks without confidence.
And the COBRAS to win a good game at Lilydale.
All games should be closer than expected with the wet conditions slowing scoring.

Sharks struggling with injuries and available players also. About 22 out of action this week. 6-8 of those are seniors...

I disliked hawthorn as much as anyone, but give credit where credit is due. JP is a good bloke & I know of a few other blokes that played at Hawthorn who were good guys.

There was a comment earlier about a few guys that Ed Sill is trying to take care of. Good luck to him because everyone who played against them last year knows who the tossers were....

At the same time, every club has a tosser or two playing for them. Put any random 50+ blokes together & there will be at least 2-3 that you'd prefer not to share space with. That's just a fact of life.

We seem to have good ride with ours. But then again ask any opposition players about our guys and they will say the same.

How is the rain? Awesome for us old fat blokes!
