Other than for clicks, it's difficult to understand how the media keeps mentioning Collingwood in this. How do they realistically get it done with what they have?

They're.not even the frontrunners for 13, and as soon as you add Houston, the value of their F1 decreases.

Bombers and Port make out like bandits. North pick 2/3 for Houston seems a bit steep IMO.

Carlton had three options;

1. Trade 12&14 up for 3 - just rejected
2. Trade one of 12 or 14 into other pics to be used trading with Port/Houston.
3. Take 12&14 to the draft.

Option 1 is now off the table. Old mate Cal’s article based on us still chasing Option 1.

Positioning ourselves for a crack at Houston is now on.

Collingwood don’t even have a first this year to trade with - looking less likely by the minute with so many clubs wanting 13.

Most likely Houston stays at Port - but who knows.

No chance he stays at Port. this gets done. We are barely half way through the trade period. Plenty of time - clubs just posturing still at the moment.

Houston doesn't seem like the entitled Malbun private schoolboy ******* "I only want to play in front of Big Crowds in Spankbusters at the GEEE". types. Seems pretty grounded. North could be a good fit for him. They aren't going to be shit forever and should be building towards finals in the next couple of seasons. He could be a big part of that.

There's a good chance they end up.with 6, 10 and 11 or 18 once the Bolton and Rioli deals go through. Whether they all go through in time to do a pick swap for Houston is another matter
