Doesn't sound like he will be a chance to get to Carlton given they won't pay or don't want to pay what North will.

North probably the better play for him career wise anyway, given they will eventually bounce and be a decent side.

Houston is worth more than Daniel Rioli who is literally the same age as him (one month apart).

So whatever you rate Rioli as being worth, add 50% and you'll get Houston's value.

Yes, but you can't benchmark against crazy. Houston will go for less than Rioli because Gold Coast are crazy

What you're not factoring in is Powa obviously aren't desperate to keep Houston IMO, they're quite happy to let him go for the collateral he brings in to enable them to use it on Luko and any other trade targets they have lined up, also his salary off the books helps in their quest for Perryman, Cumming, Luko and any other primary targets they're chasing.

Interested clubs know this just like most Big Footy posters.

What I find funny is:

Carlton - Under no circumstances will pick 11 be traded. We MUST use that in the draft.

Also Carlton - We’re investigating Gold Coast’s pick 12 using our F1.
North - we will give you our F1st for pick 12.

Gold Coast - Done! :laughv1:

Given you are responding to a comparison of the values of Rioli and Houston, are you by extension implying that Richmond are desperate to keep Rioli, because thats the only difference you seem to be suggesting there is.

Richmond are clearly in the early stages of a rebuild, Powa are looking to top up with mature aged players for another run at a Premiership, therein is the big difference.
