Are you going to answer my question:
You have stated you are happy with 5 years and 4.25 million dollars .... Would you in that case be happy with a sixth at an extra 550 ?

From 6 minutes in:
:

The key here is Sam "Thinks" rather than knows, and then softens it by talking triggers.

Where are the "multiple" media reports of a fixed 7 year deal ?

Reported by Edmund and Twomey from other posters yesterday?

Ive quoted Edmund, and Twombey doesnt say 7 years, it oon the gettables podcast.

You still refuse to answer my question.... why are you not wlling to answer it ?

You assume Suns cap is in trouble. Based on what?

In the coming season, TPP goes up 2M, that's more than 10%. Most teams have money. Suns also off-loaded a lot of money recently (just Bowes + Rankine I guess around 1.5M) and can do the same next year.

How about the primary reason why Suns told Luko to look around if he wants - He does not fit into Dimma plan. Long-term it's King, Walter, Read, Andrew playing forward. Drafting all those tall talented kids (2 locals) changed the dynamic of Suns team.

It will be handy to off-load Luko back ended salary no doubt especially when he could struggle to play in the best 22. It's cap issue as primary reason? I don't believe it. With TPP going up 4.3M over 2023-2026, 1M becomes 700-800K. Get use to 5 plus millionaires on each team.
The trade will tell us. I expect F1 to be involved with something coming back. IMO, Bowes scenario is highly unlikely.
What difference does two million make when you just gave Mac Andrew a 9 year 14 million dollar deal?

While there's no Jack Bowes situation about the deal make no mistake, Hardwick and co won't hesitate in dropping Lukosius off to the airport. He's been pushed out the door.

Go and correct those posts. They probably didn't know the 7th year was a trigger.

You still havent answered the question, which highlights that you are changing your position on the fly.

What question? I read those posts that said it was 7 years and not 6 years + a trigger year. We know how shit trigger year are, look at Smith.

Well, it isn't just an extra year. Are you all there????
Personal insults ?

Can you answer the question. Lets establish what you would pay him for 6 years given you were happy to pay 4.25 for 5.

This will be an interesting one.

My prediction is that Port will give up a future 1st for Luko, and get something back in return. The Suns probably won't want to give up a future 2nd, the Power won't want a future 4th. Could be some pick swaps, or some extra later picks.

My guess is:
Luko > F1 (with multiple pick swaps)

You make out like Suns will pay Andrew 14M next year. No doubt it's based on still mostly potential which is risky, IMO. Considering that some clubs were supposedly offering 18M, it could turn out to be bargain. Hey, officially according to Suns website, right now it's only until 2030. Thanks for triggers.

Nobody is saying that Suns want to keep Luko. You don't say player if you want to stay you better change your play, to come from off-season in great shape and work his butt off to compete for best 22. That does not mean Suns will do Bowes and let go Luko for peanuts this time.

Get ready for 20M contracts soon.

If I was port and Carlton are the side they need to deal with, Pick 11 and their F2 straight up would be the minimum. IF port could then bundle up their F2, the Carlton F2 and possibly even their current F2 to get an F1 and change from a club, they then could ship that to GC. That way they would retain their own F1 and have pick 11 to use in this draft. Could a contending side this year needing academy points next year be tempted to do a deal for multiple 2nd rounders?

Get Perryman as well and it would be a very nice off season for them + retaining their own F1.
In: Lukosius, Perryman, Pick 11 + change if current 2nd is also included to get a teams F1.
Out: Houston & 2 x F2 (and possible current 2nd)

You seem to be very concern Port Power gave him 7 years?????
You seem to be more concerned about absolutely everything to do with Ports salary cap than you do with your own team. It is very weird.

you seem to not be able to answer a question.

I am more than comfortable with 7 years, he will still be on a list in 7 years, and we now have flexibility.

Good for you. Like I said, I don't have a problem with 5 years at $850-900K (provided we get pick 12 back for the $2M salary relieve). I wouldn't offer another few years and doubtful he will be getting only $550K and even if he does get so little, it's still $1.1M in your salary cap for 2 years.

Ok ... time to move on, you dont grasp basic maths, and are still changing your tune at the drop of a hat. Good luck with your trading and drafting.

I'm really not sure why you are bothering... as he really doesn't have a basic grasp of much relating to football...

Going to be interesting to see how this trade gets valued. Surely won't be a future 1st as that is way overs...

To be honest I saw a bunch of clustered posting from him that were all over the place so spent a bit of time confirming my suspicions and decided to call him out to see if he’d admit to it.

Re the trade - I really don’t know. I suspect it will depend on all the balls we have in the air. I can’t see it happening before Houston is locked away (at least in principle) so we know what our hand is.

What don't you get? I told you countless time but you keep asking the same question. Yes, I would be happy had Lukosius choose us even with 5 years at $850K but not another 2 years. And like I said last time, are you all there????

Fyi - There is a reason why he posts more on this board than the Crows board. ;)

Would have thought Port would want to do the Lukosius trade before Houston one, as then you have more picks available for them to ask for.

Yes, a lot of posters like you who lack basic football knowledge ;) Last night was a doozy after that "report" from Josh Money lol.
