Who? McDonald and Fisher?

We desperately need a gun HBF so that we don't need to play McKercher or Sheezel back there
Agree that he would be a great pickup for you guys. You have drafted the core of that midfield going forward and Houston would free them up to play there as well as offer significant leadership in your back line. The interesting thing would be if you can convince him to go there based on potential success in 2-3 years rather than immediately like Carlton. Doesn’t matter to me either way because I don’t think we get either of your firsts straight up, so trade value would probably be similar to what other clubs would be offering.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Mckercher spends more time at half back than people think. His run and kicking would be so elite coming off half back as he continues to mature, similar to Whitfield. More than likely we bring in another mid with pick 2, which stacks our young midfield even more.

We also have the following:

Fisher
Goater
Hardeman
Bergman
George

Fisher looks a lock for the foreseeable future and there is a lot of talent in the other 4.

But Port Power only want North's F1 so he is forced to go there if he want more money as Port Power isn't going to change his contract.

No hes not because theres no push trades.
If it comes to that he will stay at port and try again next year but hes not going to pick north.

I think unless North is in play, Port would do well to hold this year and next year trade options will open up.

Will also give 2025 a better chance of success, really you shouldn't entertain trading him at all.

There's some potential there but nothing that screams "we don't need to add an AA HBF, it's all sorted".

"I am contracted and I absolutely love the footy club, I love being in Adelaide," Houston told Adelaide radio station 5AA on Friday.

"My focus in particular in the next five weeks is helping this team push for finals and get them in the best possible condition and do whatever I need to around the club to help them.

"I am not leaving next year.

"I am contracted, I wouldn't have signed the contract if I wasn't keen on Adelaide and keen on Port Adelaide and I love the place, I love the footy club and the footy club have been good to me."

Maybe there was a "Provided Kenny gets the arse" in there somewhere....

No shit he said all that.

He's not going to drop a bombshell trade request on nova just because they asked him a click bait question

Naive if you think otherwise

It's the same as the Barrass one this year okay to bullshit and deflect a little but don't be so staunch then do a full 180 2 weeks later

Geez huge loss for port as we witnessed in the finals. Elite ball user, dual All Aust. Old mate Byrne-Jones has to go down back again HAHAHA

If the trade is to Victoria then thats fine he can play for which ever club Port can get a decent deal with

Noth , St Kilda , Melbourne , Bulldogs , Carlton
Doesnt work like that anymore.. We all know players have most control. he will go where he wants to go and will 100% be a big Vic club. my tip is Carlton

Not as bad as the Barrass back flip as he has said he'll stay at Port if they can't find a suitable deal.
