At the outset this is not a troll post.

I think that David will do well with you guys. In terms of ruck talent he was in our best 22 however the problem was we have 2 rucks in front of him in Goldy and Big H.

It is then compounded when Petrie is in the side because carrying 4 ruckmen screws up structures and makes us too slow.

trade was probably about as fair as you can hope for in that I dont think anyone was monumentally screwed in this deal.

Why? We've effectively lost Brown and gained Hale. If anything, thats a win in my book.

By gaining Hale it means we're planning to delist Taylor. Again, a smart move from the club. Barring any changes, Round 1 our ruck duo will be Bailey/Hale. Both have shown they can do enough as a forward when the time comes.

You have to remember, with the new interchange laws, we have to re-evaluate what we need from our rucks.

He's no star but he is the best ruckman we have now.

I reckon this bloke will be good for you guys and improve your side.

He's never really been given the chances at North because they have such a talented ruckman in McIntosh and then managed to snag Goldstein who looks great as well.

He's only 26. A year younger then Mark Jamar who only really came on this season.

I reckon with more responsibility and chances he'll thrive and the best part is he can move forward and slot a goal. When these ruckman move on they seem to grow a leg and find themselves a bit. Mumford with more responsibility showed heaps in 2010 and early on in the year Mark Seaby was doing the same.

He's at that age now when ruckman seem to really blossom.

I reckon he'll get his 12-14 possessions and 15-20 hitouts a game and he'll make a good combo with Renouf.

WE didnt swap Brown for Hale. With Brown we got a great deal from the AFL, but we wasted the advantage on Hale I think.

I cant see how he is going to do anything on our forward line without getting in the way of Buddy or Roughy.

I think Pelch and Clarko are just wasting picks to top up the list coz they havent drafted a decent ruckman in 5 years. Just like they have wasted picks on backmen that they dont know how to draft. I think its sad...

Without another ruckman we were 1 injury to Renouf away from being a bottom 4 side. We were pathetic early in the year when Hodge and Roughead had to play ruck.

Bailey is a cripple, Skipper and Taylor are very ordinary and the latter should be delisted. Lowden and Grimley are not ready.

Lowden is 19, and at 204cm, needs to put some meat on his bones before he will play. Suggesting Fraser just proves you have no idea.
