was at the car when haddin dropped that catch.

he's position in the side must be under serious consideration. sounded horrible.

maybe we need to invent a new postion or 2...

one about 15 metres behind Haddit, who can focus mainly on the leg side, as you say a traditional backstop.

another a metre or so in front of 1st slip , basically a "Haddit slip" ...unique field with 1st slip for a genuine edge and Haddit slip for Bad's ****-ups.

Bit like roving the packs when the Big forwards contest in the air and bring the ball to ground

We'll recruit a couple of crumbing forward pockets to to take the slips...lol!

A necessity though.

They do earn their dough though when keeping to the spinners.

Which isn't too often nowadays. ;)

Went to the Jarman book launch last month, and back then there was a genuine skill to keeping wickets. Grout was very good against speed and spin, Jarman was a terrific leg side keeper.

Most of those old blokes reckoned Bert Oldfield was the best of all time.

The AUS batting lineup will have a great chance to really enhance their stats versus this attack. They have already imploded and 4-0 is likely .
