BL fans. Dont listen to those that have plans to destabilize us. Kids will not be traded. BTW Did you hear pendles wants out. It's that easy
Brisbane trade pick 5 to Collingwood and pick 21 to north
North trade Greenwood to pies and pick 36 to Geelong
Pies trade beams to Brisbane
Geelong trade varcoe to north
Funny, all the Pies supporters are getting their panties in a bunch about it on Twitter.
"Why would you say that!! Pendles is a genius!! Don't ever say that about our captain!! It's so disrespectful!!!"
It's the curious mindset of a decent percentage of Collingwood supporters that anything that concerns their club is actually directed at them. The tweet was meant to appease Brisbane supporters and show how easy it is for rumours to get perpetuated.
As for the claims of unprofessionalism - spare me. We don't have a president who can air his grievances on air at the drop of a hat. We don't have media mouthpieces like Jon Ralph and Glenn McFarlane who run club PR virtually verbatim. We're taking every opportunity ATM to be seen and heard. Seems a few opposition supporters are keen for us to remain virtually invisible.
And Leppa is showing himself as a coach most players would love to play under.
All I can say is that great work Leppa! It's the curious mindset of a decent percentage of Collingwood supporters that anything that concerns their club is actually directed at them. The tweet was meant to appease Brisbane supporters and show how easy it is for rumours to get perpetuated.

Nah, Pies are only dragging it out for the sake of appearance.
It'll get done.
not unless bris come up with the player coll want it won't
the crows, suns and dogs have all provided recent examples of weak clubs, demonstrating that the players run the joint rather than the board and management with the players shafting their coach in each example. i hope even more now after hearing about mccartney that the pies don't become the next example of a weak club being dictated to by its players, and make beams see out his contract if the lions don't come up with the trade the pies want - beams will be back if they go down that path, as he won't be giving up 600K+ and walking away from footy for a season, and he will have to adhere to all of the terms of his contract if he wants to get paid. show him who's boss and make a statement to the rest of the list
however despite leppo's brave words, it does sound like the lions are about to come to the party. i suspect more will be revealed in the next hour or so
You must be new to the situation.forcing a player to stay at a club whilst his dad is fighting for his life...
players would be be queuing up to play for a club with that sort of culture...

I liked it. I liked the fact that Leppa dispelled the Redden rumour. I liked the fact that he says the kids are off limits. I liked the fact a tongue-in-cheek line was used to bring a bit of humour to a tense situation. More coaches should use the social media platform to engage with fans. This is all notwithstanding the Americanisation of destabiliseIt's the curious mindset of a decent percentage of Collingwood supporters that anything that concerns their club is actually directed at them. This is correct but it appears Brisbane are unwilling to trade a quality senior player full stop.Do people honestly think beams is worth pick 5 AND redden. Waaaay overs. Redden is a gun
Pick 25 and redden is closer to the mark.
Yep, because a "decent percentage" of Collingwood's 80,000 members all post on twitter.
I think it's fair enough though. Why lose a key player when they're the ones who want to stay? This is correct but it appears Brisbane are unwilling to trade a quality senior player full stop.

Totally.Nah, he's really not, your club is denying a young mans potential last days with his father.
