Jamieson three years on the list and zero games. First game was at full back as Jack Williams (the forward) rucked. Then Jamieson plays in the ruck (2nd ruck to Jackman HEdwards!) and ... on the basis of one game ... actually looks like he might a ruckman.

Question to be asked ... how come it has taken such extreme circumstances and with NN and BW injured before this guy gets a run in his position?
even at WAFL level he’s hardly rucked. He was so far off it when he started and since been sheltered at each end. He’s put on a bit since last season and now able to show more in the ruck and is able to handle himself against bigger bodies.

The thing about drafting ruck that weigh 80kg is that you have to be willing to give them enough time to both fill out and develop their games or else it’s an absolute waste of time/resources and a draft pick. He essentially lost a year of development in his first season due to covid and last season was interrupted with injuries.

If he plays like this, he’ll be getting another extension

Play Jamo and if he build on this game, then give him the rest of the season.

Kid would be something special if he was built like Bailey Williams. His ability to compete and scrap for the ball at ground level is amazing. Saw it in glimpses at WAFL level last season and to see it on the weekend was very nice.

Jamo has put on 7 kg since last year , so is heading in the right direction ..

Houston, we’ve got a problem.

Sen have officially classified Florence as ‘undroppable’ - they do acknowledge him being a ‘top up’ and ‘has’ to be dropped.

But, an indictment on our team really.

But why 'develop' his game out of position.

It hasn't worked for others, Brander the most recent, and I'm not sure what the club is thinking.

Getting beat up in the ruck is 1990's thinking, sure it is physical but so are all positions. Plus if you are getting ragdolled every time then maybe (with the assistance of coaches) you work out strategies to win. (FYI if anyone at the club happens to read this, starting behind at boundary throw ins is NOT the way to out-point a larger opponent).

He should have been playing regular ruck in the WAFL as we've known for a while that it is Nic or bust and fast tracking development of the next group of rucks should have been a priority.

Thanks Biggie. It’s easy to just give up and shitpost while the club is doing so bad, but you continue to take modship seriously.
I don’t know what angle you’re coming from here tbh 🤔

I agree but I think he was in and out of the team last season through injury and what not, He also played behind Vardy and BJ a bit too by memory

Biggest question is why in his years on the list was he never played in the ruck in the WAFL where he was drafted? So stupid. When vardy was cooked he rucked every game in WAFL. I thought the whole point of your own team was for development? No one developing at that rabble

It started due to team structure in the WAFL last year the Fwds’Rucks had plenty of height but the KPD were lacking any players with height due to the WAFL restrictions and players getting promoted to the AFL ..
So began the experiment of Jamo as a defender , I was spewing and saw it as a career killer as he was trying hard but failing, defending is a art that comes with experience..
