ok. spoke to a longtime family friend. played all my footy with his dad and uncle. his name is jarrod pickett. every west coast fan give up..not coming to west coast. wants to go gold coast. but going to gws at 7. gws were going to pick him even if they had 1 pick in 10. western bulldogs wanted him but told them no. Also said that him and wright would of been picks 1 n 2 last yr. Garlett is a big slider. lacks discipline. wont go into detail. Take away that 35% in voting. Also said Cockatoo had iniuries but has overcome them. Thats who west coast want outside of jarrod. When jarrod said on tv about finishing career back home he meant with south freo when afl career finished. His family are very impressed with gws set up. He said west coast needs to learn to trade to get better picks.

Tapscott was never fast one of the knocks on his game was speed, he was compared to Shannon Hurn before injury.

Sorry Hungary Tiger,What His family member said was that GWS liked him when they had 1 pick in the top 10 but probably wouldn't get him because the pick was to early,but now they have 3 in the top 10 it makes sense that they have shown a little more interest,he also said that Jarrod would love to go to WCEAGLES and to any club in that matter,Jarrod doesn't pick or choose were he wants to go he is happy to go anywhere I know because I am a very close to his family so it's coming from a good source.

Nice story mate either it is grade A bull plop or the Chinese whispers are highly exaggerated . I don't doubt GWS would take him with pick 7 but if the had pick 1 they would take Petracca .

no not necessarily. 2 different players. 1 inside mid and 1 explosive outside mid. you dont always go the so called best. but what your team needs.

Yes too different players but the difference is Pickett May end up a Steven hill who is a high production outside player who contributes very well to his side . Where as petracca could be that fyfe style player who can change the game by winning his own ball and drag his team back into the contest or win them the game off his own boot . That's the difference and why GWS would never pick him over petracca

I don't think it means that much. I've done it, it's not that difficult. No pressure and you always have time to straighten up and prepare your kick properly.

Is there a pressured kick test?

I don't doubt that you spoke to someone about Pickett, but I think that they are spinning you a bit of a story. Pickett goes into the draft, he dosnt get to say no to the doggies, he dosnt get to say I'm off to the Gold Coast, or GWS, or west coast for that matter. I know a few WAFL players and they have all said the same think, Picketts a very level headed guy and will be happy to play anywhere next year. As for Garlett I've heard since his cousin got the flick from the Hawks he's pushed himself to try to prove to recruiters he's not like his cousin. To me that sounds like he's disciplined and a hard worker. Don't take this as a dig at you just my opinion.

Sounds silly but in practice that's what happens when you play away from home. The crowd and players get into you.

no I spoke to jarrod at the shops today y u no risten? I know them. known his dad since 1997. and garlett has not shown up to many meetings and games.
