Most obvious reading of this is that Bevo is pissed about a sub-standard performance following from an internal leak on selection. That’s not Morris’s fault, although he is a gutter journalist that’s the wrong time/topic to call him out on.

I grew up in the UK and I’m all for the Alex Ferguson “us against the world” strategy but if you don’t execute it properly you’ll be buried. Bevo looked unhinged there after a rd 1 loss. Not great.

Then he should address the rat offline, not pot a journo publicly who, regardless of his methods, has got info out of the rat.

It comes across as nothing more than an attack on Tom Morris actually, and of sour grapes, and a bad loser. A bit of introspective after a game like tonight would be probably a better starting point. A leak didn't make us play large periods like deer in headlights, or make our disposal look bog standard.

As others have said, Bevo might need a break - that few minutes has just added fuel to a media fire that was already on the way when assessing how we have now successively dished up two performances where we have ultimately rolled over.

Schache had a shocker but I would play him as the backup ruckman and utility. Tim rucks 70%. He needs a role, not thrown around everywhere.

like others have said just give JUH the season to develop in seniors if he is working hard at training.

VDM turns it over all the time. Love his speed and attack. Give AJ and JJ a go.

Roarke is still not best 22 but has gone past Hunter. I would drop both but Hunter first.

Hannan can look good but someone with his speed, agility, leap should be able to get more than 8 possession.

In a business that thrives on putting people down for doing a poor job, the media go through every week unscathed despite being exactly what Bevo just called Tom Morris. Muck raking, gutter journalism, trash. I hate that everyone is held to unreachable standards except for the media.
But yeah, this definitely wasn't the way to address it.
