Pav to get 2 down to 1 with a guilty plea, Brown played on so lucky there I think. Regarding Brown it's a cruel twist of genetics that twins share the same DNA but in this case one gets 90% of the spuddage. Embley to get 3 minimum. See if Fishpub gets up next week but he's harder than a cat's head so should be right. Apart from that regulation 28 point win. Must have half a dozen wins round that margin this year.

West Coast were fierce at the contest today, dare i say it they played like it was their Grand Final? Thought we did well to hang in there long enough to pounce on them in the last when they'd spent their petrol tickets. Even spuds like Embley, Cripps and Schofield were carving it up for them.
Thought our defenders played really well in McPharlin's absence , Silvagni was awesome in the 1 on 1's today and Spurr and Johnson were good as usual.

Sandi and Pav much better for the run. Pav's kicking was excellent. Sutcliffe is a brilliant choice as sub, always comes on and impacts the game. Spurr and Johnno continued fantastic seasons. Work rate from Mayne and Barlow impressive. Barlow's goal kicking looked solid. Hilly enjoyed his 100th. Dawson did well to limit Kennedy to two, and really helped out the other backs.
My thoughts - unlikely to go to an eagles home derby game ever again....
Cant believe some if the ridiculous sh$t that was being thrown around in the crowd. Admittedly my sharp wit was not received with the usual applause it deserves like at a dockers game, but to have grown men swearing and losing it in the front of the kids around us, let alone the constant boo-ing and cries of ball, I almost checked myself into rehab at the end. If it weren't for the 2 eagles guys around me who i shook hands with at the end of the match, I'd be venting more about crowd antics

I think alot of rushed kicks or bombing blindly are probably the biggest areas of concern as a dockers fan. Another is although Sandi is a good overhead mark, bombing long to pack of 6 players plus around him is not the way to go.
Other than that Im really pleased with the outcome and the effort in the last quarter.

impressed with Sandilands second effort. he is crucial to our chances as last year showed and i liked how zac clarke finished the game. Hill just showed why he won't be dropped and those who thought so ignore his damaging effect with ball in hand. he only needs 15 touches to be damaging or he draws the tag. win win. walters was efficient as always although the dive was cringeworthy but effective. chris mayne and the midfield was sharp

I agree with Riteo on Silvagni, he did his very best Mcpharlin impersonation today. Destroying the ball with his fist, taking some marks and being pretty good one on one. The eagles were very good in the first half and there is not much a defender can do against a leading forward with good delivery. It has taken him a bit longer than others but I think he is now giving 'great effort' as required.
Hill and Fyfe were BOG.
Sandilands isn't going anywhere from what I can see, the coaching staff are just going to pump games into him as long as he doesn't get injured. Its bad luck for Hannath but he and Clarke will be together regularly in a few years.

Silver held his own today, but worried about next week. We must come out and tackle like crazy as Richmond's scoring power is daunting and we may not be able to stay in it.
Pav out will be massive, he's not 100% but he steadies us when the going gets tough. Happy to see Hill, Fyfe, and my favourite Mayney lift and grab the game by the throat - we forget how young these guys are, their best football is yet to come. And Sutty!
I love the Subcliffe and how he backs himself every time. Sherro does pretty well - which spot is he being groomed to take over? The Duff of the future? Really missing the Duff kick in from defensive 50.
Oh - and props to MJ for being the defensive general we needed in place of Macca.

Slightly off topic but I just had to turn the sound down on the TV at 1/2 time today. Those idiots did their best impersonation of a Eagles cheer squad. I was half expecting wambat or bender to take the mike.
Gerard Healy is a massive Eagles sycophant so no real surprise.
Saw the game courtesy of an Eagles aquaintance who couldn't make the game. I was surrounded by Eagles members, who were f*#~ing annoying. They had no idea about the game. Basically whined and booed whenever the Eagles didn't have the ball - for no other reason that the umpire hadn't given the Eagles possession of the ball. Then there was the chorus of "just kick it", "don't handball", "kick it up the middle", "Ballantyne/Crowley/(insert any Docker's name) is a miserable dog".
But that stopped when they all started to leave from about the 17 minute mark on. Must have run out of Charddy ...

You wouldn't have found many eagles fans who didn't tip you to roll us in that game so i'm not surprised at all. Pretty happy with the effort we gave for 3 quarters though, that part was surprising.
Good luck for the rest of the year and in the finals, as usual i'll be backing you. If you make top 4 you got it in the bag.
