“Sharelle and Peter Crabb said they were on their back verandah when heard the car about 10.05am, the inquest was told.”

https://au.news.yahoo.com/william-tyrrell-inquest-boy-seen-in-car-day-of-abduction-082631969.html

“The public would never hear whether the police had ruled out the postie. Presumably, it would be simple enough to check with the post office which driver (in which vehicle) was on duty that day.

Actually, I did some digging and discovered that the postal worker - a woman - had been in Benaroon Drive about ten that morning. We can’t rule out the possibility
that it was the postal worker the Crabbs heard.

Neighbour Peter Crabb said he didn’t see any cars parked on the street either, not when he and his wife left and not when they returned home at about 9.30 am.

A heart scare had prompted Peter to add more exercise into his daily routine. So every morning, rain or shine, he and his wife, Sharelle, drove
to North Haven for a brisk walk along the riverside bike path.

Their walk took at least an hour, putting their departure from home at around 8.00 to 8.30.”

From Searching for Spiderman, Ally Chumley.
Peter Crabb said at the inquest it was not long after they arrived home at 9.30am. I think there is some guesswork involved in the time. The only mention I have at the inquest of 10.05am was Det.Beacroft said she believed WT disappeared between 10.05am and 10.15am. If Peter Crabb was correct, the car could have been heard up to 30 minutes earlier than the Police believe.

I’ve always found the sudden change of plans strange. FF could have rearranged his very brief meeting with a client. He had planned to be in Kendall for a break away on the Friday.
I still find the text message 3 minutes before arriving home very strange (kids greeting their parents when they come home is a natural thing, no planning involved,) and didn’t FM say that she’d said to William where’s Daddy? Why, she hadn’t received a text from FF at this stage?
Talk of Ff having a second phone, deleted text messages, phone calls about washing machine parts.

In saying that, I think it’s possible a person(s) has driven down that remote area and taken William.
A Psychologist said that William wouldn’t be too afraid of strangers because of his care situation, meeting case workers, etc and he did call his parents K and B. (Opposite of what FM says that he would shy away but she also said he wouldn’t wander, unlikely for a 3 year old.)
The whole case is strange to me.

From the moment she was seen by the truck driver she had imo made the decision that that location couldn't be allowed to stand..If he came forward it would sink her..So FF must have went out in the night and shifted the body. That's why he wasn't there first thing in the next morning. Out spending the night looking my ar*e.

If cadaver scent was there it may still sink her.

People don't drive trucks around for fun. He was delivering something or picking something up. So there's a supplier and a customer, either of whom could help police narrow down the time the truck was on Batar Creek Rd. Plus the CCTV at the tennis club. Plus the cell phone records of the driver if a call was made or received. Plus CCTV on other surrounding roads depending on the route taken. Did the truck driver purchase petrol that day? Any financial transactions which would determine time and location?

I wonder if William’s body just placed somewhere or was he in something.

Ms Grahame on Tuesday told the court: “I pause to say there is actually no evidence that anyone has been seen placing a body here or anywhere else.”

The coroner made the comments as she explained her decision not to call evidence from a researcher on invasive species.

The court has heard Professor Jon Olley, who was on site for the fresh forensic dig around Kendall in November 2021, sent an email to a wildlife expert at the Department of Primary Industries asking if any bones could have been taken or disturbed by wild animals.

The expert, Dr Paul Meek, will not be called as a witness, the court heard.

Ms Grahame said she accepted there were dogs in the Kendall area.

THE CADAVER DOGS
Senior Constable Matthew Gates, from the NSW Police dog unit, told the court that on September 13, 2014 - day after William disappeared - he was involved in a search of Kendall along Batar Creek Rd down to the intersection of Cobb and Co Rd.

He told the court he was also involved in dense bushland in subsequent days and said the area would have been impossible for a three-year-old to navigate.

Senior Constable Adam Aitken is also a part of the NSW Police dog squad and works with cadaver dogs.

He was involved in a search of Kendall, with his dog Digger, on September 15, 2014.

The court was told on Tuesday that the September 15 search did not take in the area around the Cobb and Co Rd and Batar Creek Rd intersection.

He said he was involved in a thorough search of Kendall on a number of occasions in following years.

“The dog’s off lead, we’re allowing the dogs to just work, we’re looking at the same time, the dog’s working 20 to 30 metres in front of me,” Sen Con Aitken said.

The court heard that in Sen Con Aitken’s experience, search dogs can detect cadavers from up to 70m away.

What a massive disappointment. Worked the area with dogs and nothing!!

Well what that tells me is that the hiding happened much further away. No I don't think it exculpates her. I think it advances the option of further away and likely photos edits to give them time.

So what was she doing at Cobb & co then?. Had she thrown something and pulled over to turn around and come back? Perhaps

Looks like it's down to what the truck driver saw.

If she went as far as Cobb&Co Rd, who's to say she didn't go further? The timing window is there. Plenty of secluded spots along that Road, not much traffic, and the creek and bushland very close to the road. Even a couple of dams.
I know Jubelin's team searched as far as Cedars Logging Lane at one time. I wonder what led them there?
The area where he may have been driven by car and hidden even temporarily is huge.

Sgt Robyn Ross, the only data analyst on the strike force Rosann team over the past four years, told the court on Tuesday that by August 2024 there were over 1,700 persons of interest in the case. Of those, 732 were deemed low risk, while there were 79 outstanding names requiring analysis.

Given the volume of names, Ross said the team used government data to eliminate people without cars registered in their names and those without a licence.

Hmm, so no one dodgy who would steal a child would drive around unlicensed or in a unregistered vehicle?

Craddock said on Tuesday someone had “mentioned her name” as she was leaving court the previous day. He noted there was “no place for that in civil society”.

I wasn’t there so I didn’t see this incident, but if it is as simple as someone saying her name, what if it was an old friend or acquaintance, maybe one of the Lane Cove Ladies saying “hi”?

not just days but years. I doubt they would have been able to keep up a charade around her at home 24/7 for years before she was removed from their home.
If the FF didn’t know, then the foster daughter would never have overheard any conversations between them that would have indicated any criminal behaviour had occurred with respect to William.

Just saying. If the Fm has done something there is no indication that the FF knows.

IMHO

Why they may never find William......IMO

Omg what.

Looks like it's down to what the truck driver saw.
So, even though:
hours of listening to secret recordings of FPs
How many people checked in the local area?, mentioned above - 1,700!
CCTV and phone records and pings.
Search of the FGM's house.
Delayed search of FP's car and FGM's car.
The immediate search for lost William by police, SES, and the Kendall community
The later digs at the house, the riding school and cobb and Co
The arrest of the wrong people and payment of compensation ......etc ...the list goes on.
They have zip....

Except the truck driver.

Hardly, you can watch the video here

Right. Frank Abbott had no licence and claimed he didn't drive. But he did.

PS in fairness to the cops, if someone doesn't have a licence or a registered vehicle how the heck are the cops supposed to identify them or their vehicle?

The truck driver is likely to just say he saw her
