All teams have injuries. The Citz have about 8 out of their best 22 and about 25 overall on the injured list.
Plucking three new players mid year from Old Hailebury seems to even things out a bit one would think.

Is anyone surprised by how well Parkside and Sth Melb are travelling in D2?
I've always thought the standard of D3 has risen significantly over the last couple of years. Is this the proof?

Took the dogs for a walk to watch the Citz's v Swinburne game on Saturday.
Take aways:
Swinburne has the worst ground in the VAFA - condition, canteen, bar, amenities, all stink!!
I probably saw the worst umpiring display in VAFA history. I know that it is D3 football, but come on....no vision like the higher grades so how do they improve? Does HQ care?
Swinburne have a real go, Citz just too good for them.

Going into the long weekend, looks like its a race in four.
1 v 2 at Canterbury Saturday week. Looking forward to a great game.

Heard about a few bad ones.
Talk a few weeks ago about the wicks v powerhouse game finishing close to 5:00 because of 25 odd free kicks in the last quarter. Around 85 free kicks were paid for the game.
