My round 1 selections are West Brunswick by 26 Pts over Eley Park,
Mt Lilydale by 41 Pts over North Brunswick,
Box Hill by 55 Pts over Chadstone,
Swinburne Uni 75 Pts over Manningham and to become flag Favourites,
Point Cook by 22 Pts at home over Sth Mornington.
Good luck to everyone and hope no serious injuries, bring it on.

Point cook are no good.

Haters gonna hate, I guess.

Let's all hope further posts from our new recruit are at a far higher level.

I say good on him. I've always found it a good tactic to keep the bar low & meet expectations.

May his posts remain at their insightful level. And good luck to him with his primary school studies.

Hey guys wondering if someone can help me?
Ive just moved to Brunswick from up the murray way and looking to play footy down here.
Is there any clubs that are short or looking for players?
Cheers guys

Box Hill North vs Chadstone - BHN, will be interesting to see if Chaddy have made any ground.
Mt Lilydale vs Nth Brunswick - Mt Lilydale's fast game style on a "newly irrigated" goat park will be to much for Brunny
Point Cook vs South Mornington - PC by 15 points. Wind to play a factor. PC 8 goals better side at home
West Brusnwick vs Eley park - Eley Park by 4 points. Israel brothers to kick 11 between them
Swinburne Uni vs Manningham - SU by 15 goals.

So far 4/5

Round 2

NB v BHN, In a close one
SM v MTL, Another close one
CH v WB, WB to bounce back
MC v PC, Not sure which way to go here. MC at home, Another close one
EP v SW, Another close one

Should be some good tight contests this weekend. Enjoy

Hi Asahi,

Us at West Brunswick (www.wbafc.com.au has coaches contacts etc) wouldn't be too far away I imagine (depending where you are NB may be closer), we train just off Park St (over the railway line from north west corner of Princes Park). Training is 6pm Tuesday and Thursday, come on down if you are keen.

Hey Asahi, North Brunswick should be just up the road.

Their ground is on Donald st in North Brunswick.

I think they train 6:00pm Tuesday and Thursday.

Good bunch of blokes.

Cheers

Wow.. Div4 is interesting this year... What happened to bhn today? Lilydale?

It's funny Waz because I was going to get on here spruiking how Sth Mornington have never beaten Mt Lilydale. Very impressive team. All around 6ft and run. We were outclassed all over the ground. Sadly that was our best side on the park. We could not judge the ball with the swirly wind and we continued to kick it high which they killed us in the air. One to watch particuarly with strong depth in the reserves. Hats off to them.

BHN had to many players out, however North Brunswick play there ground very very very well, all credit to them they had plenty of run all around the ground and sadly smashed BHN everywhere.

Sounds like South Mornington are very very good.

Div 4 Field for 2012:

West Brunswick
Mt. Lilydale
Swinburne Uni
Eley Park
South Mornington
Manningham Cobras
Point Cook
North Brunswick
Box Hill North
Chadstone

Grand Final Selection West Brunswick to defeat Swinburne
Chadstone to win Round 1

Dont write off pt cook as yet well run club with alot of up side. With a few clearences still pending, a top 4 finish is what the coaching staff and president will be looking for.

How many were missing Tiger ? and could you explain how they play their ground well, thanks.

I can't say how many players missing, however I can say there was a few due to various reasons.

I dare say you have to play man on man all day with them to win. I wouldn't go and try to tag there best players because all of them know how to play the ground really well.

The ground has dead pockets if you watch the way they set up you have no choice but to play man on man just to create a contest.

The ground is bigger then it looks, playing a full forward deep in the square is wasting time from what I saw (from the West end).

You will find Notaro leading up the ground hard because he is wasted in the square not sure if that is because he isnt the biggest player going around or if that's just the way it panned out.

If you move the ball quick and don't allow them to set up you have a good chance, just due to them knowing where to go and set up on the ground.

If they don't have time to set up you can break there defence.

Unfort for Box Hill North this didn't happen on the weekend. But hopefully with numbers coming back over the next few weeks it will start happening for us.

It wont have been the first time BHN have played at NB? Don't think the ground holds that many demaons think I have only lost there twice and both time less than a goal (played there 5 times). It would seem BHN where out coached?

Last week 5/5 for a total of 8.
This weeks tips are, Eley Park by 60pts,
West Brunswick by 14 pts,
Point Cook by 52 pts,
Sth mornington whose ground will have too many dead pockets for Box Hill, by 73 pts
Match of the round, Swinburne to defeat North Brunswick by 27 pts. Good luck to one and all.

No doubt that BHN were out classed on the day. As I said Nth Brunswick play that ground very well.

BHN have played there before, however playing the ground once a year compared to twice a week at training and then playing on the ground every fortnight prob puts North Brunswick in a better place.

So i remember Ruck Machine having his own website and i decided i needed to have another look at it... RM i need to know how you have equated that your kicking efficiency over your career is 36.4% yet 2011 was at 50%?? Do you actually just record stats in your head whilst playing football? Or you pay someone to take down your stats? Surely your'e having a laugh? Aren't you? Also whats with the list of "most pathetic" players you have played against? Bit rough isn't it?
