Lets Hope McDevitt holds his nerve and doesn't react to personal attacks

Silence is golden
You have nailed it.
And where is that dog Galbally today? Came out big mouthing about 'undue delays on the process' - and hey presto - first chance they get the Bombers choose to delay and postpone any hearings through Crt action AND ask ASADA for an extension in time to respond to show cause notices. Just shows who is delaying the process.
What a pack of lying pricks.
Let's be perfectly honest here - if the records of what substances were injected into the players' bodies had not magically disappeared, the ASADA investigation would not have taken so long. The only entity responsible for the investigation taking so long is Essendon. The same organisation was insisting just 2 or 3 weeks ago that the players just wanted closure, one way or another. Now closure is at hand, all they want to do is challenge through the courts; a process that could take 18 months. I'm guessing closure is the last thing anyone at Essendon is hoping for now.
Little: The club requested that today’s game not be negatively affected by the obvious and significant distraction to our players and their state of mind. Consequently our legal team requested that the posting of these show cause notices occur next week so that we could better assist our players in handling this traumatic development in their careers.
But, umm, wait, like, wouldn't that negatively affect next week's game???
He's an absolute nutter. And he's telling pork pies. One minute telling the essendon faithful 'in the unlikely event show cause notices are issued' only for us to now discover him having requested ASADA not send SC notices this week because they had a game.Little: The club requested that today’s game not be negatively affected by the obvious and significant distraction to our players and their state of mind. der ring des nibelungenWagner is a 3 for 1 deal
these are vanity projectsHas anyone checked if Little is still the full quid? Some of the things he is saying is reminding me of Lloyd Bridges character in Hot Shots 1 & deux.
"We will fight them... here"
"thats Minnesota sir..."
"Damn it thats the beauty of my plan boy...we fight them here and get to have a spot of ice fishing as well...we will bring their families over teach them how to ice skate...tape their favourite shows they won't miss a thing"
He's probably laughing his arse off from all this.Lets Hope McDevitt holds his nerve and doesn't react to personal attacks

I have support for Essendon Football Club - as an institution with over 100 years history. The current administration should remember that. They should come clean, apologise, and then work to win back the support of their fans and the respect of the football community.
I prefer Siegmund the sea monster.der ring des nibelungen
the wheelers who owned asia on a shoestring, aka lonelyplanet spent about 10million putting this on at Arts Centre. MaddAdam is quite the fan of opera and Die Walkure and came back from Belgium specifically for a front row seat above the orchestra pit for this production. evo is stuck to Jerry Ryan's How to Train Your Dragon
I prefer Siegmund the sea monster.

Sorry blackcat...I tried and I tried and still could not decipher that post. Vanity projects?
dailyplanet > lonelyplanetquite the juxtaposition, street food in thailand, no toilets and left hand in indonesia, and asia on a shoestring then putting on opera at melbourne arts centre
He's saying that Little is fighting this out because he's proud of being a fighter
yeah, just see the boards from all the AFL teams. they are vanity positions for the boardmembers. Then if the media put a microphone in front of you, double vanity. OK, so David Evans might have a bit of stress. But dont think that Paul Little does not love this shit and the opportunity to stick it to other chairmen and women. They live for the fight and the win. they thrive on it.Sorry blackcat...I tried and I tried and still could not decipher that post. Vanity projects?

suppose working in non-rehearse spin is not his thing. he aint a politician on his feet. he would have had to work with pre-scripted notes and talking points at worse. now he has a bare page of one-line legal phrases to make digestable to non legal joe public. don watson or a prime minister speech writer would have a hard job making palatableAh righto. But my point is that while he is doing that he is saying some pretty dumb shit. "Confident of no show clauses...we told ASADA to delay them"

True true. But I would have thought not mentioning the fact that you asked aSADA not to issue them now, after lamenting how long the investigation has taken and that you were confident of no show causes were going to be issued someone would have toll'd Paul that those things don't mix
