Do you think Freo is a Premiership contender ?

Sydney got that outdated cost of living allowance, so I don't think anyone wants them to win.
They got Tippet coz of it !
Anyone tried to buy anything in Perth lately, its outrageously expensive.
If Freo don't have to travel, they will be a huge chance.

Hate to burst your bubble. The Grand Final is at the MCG. You will have to travel.

Do people realise that as of this round Sydney have the same record against the top four as Fremantle?

With comments like this, no surprise you have no credibility. Let's put things into perspective as you seem incapable of doing so. Carlton were playing for their season. They had very close to their best side on the field and were playing in Melbourne (not Subiaco). This is the same Carlton side that nearly defeated Hawthorn and Essendon a few weeks ago. The "passengers" as you refer to them as were your many players that simply couldn't match the hardness or physical intensity that Freo puts on other teams. What you obvious bias won't let you see was a very strong, even side missing its two best players in Pavlich and McPharlin that can still get the job done.

Clearly doesn't visit the Carlton board, where it was pointed out many times in the autopsy thread after the game that Carlton had played about as good as they could and still couldn't get near Freo.

Big chance of losing a GF.

I'll take that.

Did you miss our final against Geelong last season?

Last season? Why are you talking about last season? Last season port power were a basket case, crows were in a prelim and almost won, GC were terrible, west coast were pushing top 4, why on earth would you use a game from last year to predict finals outcome this year? If your using history as a predictor of this year then Geelong will win the flag since they win it every other year. But if you go on THIS year, freo have been thumped by the top 2 teams.

How does our gameplan fall down to the top 3 teams when we drew with one of them? Or maybe you are saying we will finish 3rd and our gameplan will fall down when we play ourselves.

Eitherway yes we lost to Hawthorn and Geelong, but if we won those we would be one of the favourites, I think a contender if we finish 4th would be fair which looks likely.

But you didn't win those...in fact you weren't even close .so you haven't beaten the best away this year, and you drew with Sydney yes, did you win? No. So why would freo be a contender when they haven't shown they can actually beat the best?

And Geelong's gameplan falls down against which sides? - Brisbane, Adelaide and North Melbourne. So what does that say?

Every player in Feo's best 22 has played and won finals, and most across numerous seasons. No Richmond player has ever played in a final let alone won one and yet you put them ahead in the credibility stakes? Wouldn't have anything to do with your Freo bias would it?

No freo bias, if anything it makes me more aware of how good freo are because there's more invested emotionally. Richmond beat freo by 27, and beat the hawks by a good margin. Freo have been belted by Geelong and the hawks and couldn't put Sydney away, so how can I be out of line for thinking tigers are a better chance.

Because all year we haven't had our best on the park.
That should change just before the finals, and if we get home finals that will make a huge difference.

Do you know that in 2008 that Hawthorn did not beat a single one of their fellow top four contenders during the regular season? I know! It astounded me too.

Wishful thinking from the purple lot, but face it, you guys aren't going to get top 2 so the only final you won't be traveling will be the SF.

If we win a QF then we won't be travelling to GF day will we.

Richmond supporters, settle down. You might not even get a home final at all this year.

Freo are great defensively and are excellent on the counter. Defense wins premierships.

It all depends on top 2. If they can get it, they will at least make the Grand Final. If not, it will be hard. Thats basically what it comes down to; Geelong, Sydney or Hawthorn losing enough games to give up the spot to Dockers.

Should be an interesting four weeks!

Yes or No. Did Hawthorn make the GF last year after losing to Geelong twice, Sydney, West Coast plus a bottom 8 side? If yes, then you argument is shot.

Thats it makes no difference who you beat in the end if you get to the game and win.
