Yes no doubt Buddy is turning it on right now.. let's see how he copes when other teams really start focussing on him as they have done with Griffen.

Peaking? blaaaah. Wait until he's completely figured the league out - then he'll be scary. They'll be talking about these two in the same context as Judd (hopefully the Griff gets that good) v Brown/Pavlich (I know he doesn't have one yet) when discussing "who's your premiership cornerstone" down the track. I think it's great that Clarkson's just letting him do his thing.

Happy to have griff but atm I know who I'd rather have. As good as Griff might become, we need a Franklin type.

We would not have given him a chance. His a young big guy, we don't play them or perservere with them.

If McDougal was given the same SPACE up forward the buddy gets he would kick a few himself. Not saying he is anywhere as good but trying to get across the fact that our forward line structure is pathetic, even if we are the highest scoring side in the comp. Little blokes do not win games off football consistently.

Griff is obviously injured, or has he listened to his own publicity???

He's got a massive scope to grow in the arms which will put him in better sted to take more contested marks...

I've read somewhere that Griff recently said he was carrying some sort of hip injury...hope this isn't the dreaded OP

They are already focussing on him buddy. yesterday they double teamed him with michael and fletch and he still kicked em so u would rather him. however griff is a jet and will be an absolute gun. win win for both teams

Griffen will be an absolute gun.

But according to our needs, and unless it is somehow addressed pretty quickly, then we did miss out on Franklin.

His type in our forward line would be unbelievable.

I'm happy with Griffen as we all are, but unless we can pick up a young great KPP talent in the next few years, it'll probably irk us a bit that we could have had Franklin.

Eade mentioned on 3AW after the Hawks game that he was praying that Buddy would slip through to number 6.

Hopefully Tom Williams will match him in defence someday.

Still, in essence, we picked up the 2nd best player in the draft at no 3, which is some sort of a win.

Both are still 2-3 years of their best, and Griff is carrying an injury, so this will be interesting to re-visit then.
